And this from a Swindon fan, all courtesy of TIA...................

Morning Guys, thought i would give you a quick update after the first month on the lads we have from you. Sorry to intrude but thought you may be interested.

Kevin Stewart- Looks very impressive and very versatile,to the extent he has played holding mis, attacking mid right back and centre half. His two best performances were right back and attacking mid. Real shame he got injured as he was proving himself to be a great player to have and getting better every week. Good on the ball get's stuck in and seems quite vocal for a young lad .

Jordan Williams. Started off at centre half and looked very shaky first game, one of those moments where for a split second you think why have we signed this lad,In hindsight it was his debut against two big lumps up front. Since then he has been superb he oozes class on the ball and has that extra yard of space that others usually struggle to find. He has played Midfield a few games and Centre half and look equally good in both positions. I rate this lad already and as you know it looks like the wales first team coaches do aswell. Looking forward to watching him develop.

Lawrence Vigaroux- This lad has really shocked me,only in the sense that i was told horror stories off a few liverpool fans. He has been our best player and making some world class saves getting MOM in a few games. Saves aside his handling is great he commands his box brilliantly and distribution is first class. He has the odd heart in mouth moment where he does dash off his line too much but i think most keepers at young ages do that.

Anyway hope this is of interest to you but do remember this is crappy league 1 ;-)

Canos looked impressive this afternoon. Apart from setting up the equaliser he was getting stuck in against a physical Preston side and playing some nice passes. Very promising! There were some rumours beforehand that the Bees are looking to take Teixeira on loan.

LFC Loan Watch: Luis Alberto nets two in two, while Ryan Kent “runs the show”

Ben Twelves on 21 September, 2015
We take a look at how Liverpool’s loanees performed for their temporary clubs this week, including a starring La Liga role forLuis Alberto.
loan-watch-2-600x400.jpg

Luis Alberto (Deportivo La Coruna)
After returning from a nasty ankle injury, Luis Alberto enjoyed a fantastic week of action for Deportivo La Coruna – scoring twice and claiming an assist in two games for Victor Sanchez’s side.
The creative midfielder set up the opening goal of his side’s 3-1 away win at Rayo Vallecano last Monday – his pin-point cross from left to right being headed home by Celso Borges – before scoring the second with a cool finish into the bottom corner, ruthlessly punishing a mistake in the Rayo defence.
The lively Spaniard was withdrawn just after the hour mark with his side 3-1 to the good and, after his impressive display, Alberto rightly retained his place in the Deportivo XI for their clash with Sporting Gijon on Sunday, which saw the Reds loanee net his second in as many games.
Again lining up on the left side of a three-man attacking midfield, the 23-year-old notched his side’s second to level the scores at 2-2, firing inside the near post after some nice footwork – rounding off a week of two goals and an assist in two starts.

Mario Balotelli (AC Milan)
140802-262-Liverpool_AC_Milan-541x420.jpg

Despite turning in a hugely impressive performance in the Milan derby last weekend, Mario Balotelli was not handed the chance to build on his game-changing showing against Palermo on Saturday night.
Balotelli was named amongst the substitutes at the San Siro as AC Milan ran out 3-2 winners for their first Serie A win of the season, playing the final 15 minutes of the match after entering in place of Luiz Adriano.
Naturally, Balotelli had little time to make an impact on the game, but in this brief spell he displayed some nice touches and worked hard, though was visibly frustrated at the final whistle at not receiving more game time – something he will hope improves next time out.

Sergi Canos (Brentford)
Sergi Canos was an unused substitute for Brentford in their 3-1 defeat against Middlesbrough on Tuesday night, but Liverpool’s young Spaniard enjoyed a great afternoon of action at the weekend.
The 18-year-old came off the bench for his second appearance for the Bees on Saturday – making an instant impact by grabbing an assist in his sides 2-1 win over Preston, also picking up the man-of-the-match award.
Entering as a 61st-minute substitute into an attacking three, Canos – whose introduction changed the game in a fixture his side were previously trailing in – assisted Brentford’s leveller only a minute after joining, beating a pair of North End defenders before squaring for Lasse Vibe to tap home.

The Bees went on to claim victory – rounding off a perfect cameo from the bench for the Spanish midfielder, who also picked up a booking – and his contribution in swinging the game was widely acknowledged by management and supporters alike in post-match.

Ryan Kent (Coventry City)
150719-142-Liverpool_Preseason_Day_7_Adelaide-600x416.jpg

Attacking midfielder Ryan Kent completed his first 90 minutes for Coventry in their narrow 1-0 win against Chesterfield on Saturday afternoon, also bagging the man-of-the-match prize for an eye-catching display.
The 18-year-old started in a central attacking midfield role, and was at the centre of the Sky Blues’ attacking play, posing a dangerous outlet throughout the afternoon, leading to the opposition’s official Twitter account claiming Kent had “run the show.”

The creative youngster carved out numerous opportunities and was unlucky not to round off a stunning display by registering on the scoresheet himself – seeing a goal disallowed in stoppage time, after he rounded Chesterfield goalkeeper Tommy Lee and slotted home.

It was a fantastic display on his first start for the League One promotion hopefuls, as he made an instant impression on the Coventry faithful.

Danny Ward & Ryan McLaughlin (Aberdeen)

Danny Ward and Ryan McLaughlin helped Aberdeen to a seventh straight win in midweek as they recorded a 1-0 win over Hamilton Academical to cement their place at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
It was yet another clean sheet for Ward who again impressed between the sticks, though credit too must go to team-mate McLaughlin, who played 73 minutes on his Dons debut.
The Northern Irishman joined a water-tight back four, who have only conceded twice in the first seven league games of the season, before being replaced late into the second half.

Dons No.1 Ward impressed for the table-toppers again on Sunday, helping Derek McInnes’ side to a remarkable eighth win from their opening eight league games, with a 3-1 win against Hearts.
Though he conceded – for only the third time in the league – the Wales stopper could do nothing about the goal, and enjoyed another good afternoon between the sticks where he made one superb save in particular.
McLaughlin was named amongst the substitutes for the clash, but at 3-1 with the game over and done, the full-back came on for his second appearance in the second minute of stoppage time – in a game that saw McInnes’ men maintain their five-point lead over title favourites Celtic.

Sheyi Ojo (Wolves)
141126-112-Ludogorets_U19_Liverpool-577x420.jpg

England U19 international Sheyi Ojo started for Wolves in their goalless draw on Saturday against league leaders, Brighton and Hove Albion.
Ojo – who played 68 minutes of the game before being withdrawn – operated from left midfield and didn’t enjoy the most impressive of afternoons at Molineux, turning in a subdued display before being taken off having contributed little of note.

Lawrence Vigouroux, Jordan Williams & Kevin Stewart (Swindon Town)

Reds duo Lawrence Vigouroux and Jordan Williams completed 90 minutes for Swindon Town on Saturday in their 1-0 home defeat to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s Burton Albion.
Despite being on the losing side and conceding, Chilean stopper Vigouroux actually endured a quiet afternoon, rarely being called into action apart from picking the ball out of his net after Stuart Beavon scored what proved to be the winner.
Lining up again at centre-back, ball-playing defender Williams was not at fault for Burton’s goal, but didn’t enjoy his best afternoon at the County Ground, where Kevin Stewart was again missing through injury after suffering ligament damage.

Lloyd Jones (Blackpool)
141125-022-Liverpool_Training-585x420.jpg

Young centre-back Lloyd Jones played the full 90 minutes for Blackpool in their 1-1 draw against Barnsley on Saturday, where he turned in a solid defensive display for Neil MacDonald’s relegation-battling side.

Tiago Ilori (Aston Villa)

After claiming the centre-back is not yet ready for action, Villa boss Tim Sherwood again left Tiago Ilori out of match-day involvement for the Villans in their poor home defeat against Midland neighbours West Bromwich Albion.
But the Portuguese defender did play for the club’s under-21s side against Brighton the previous Monday night, completing all 90 minutes at centre-back in a 2-1 win for Villa, as he attempts to step up his fitness and availability for the first team.

Allan Rodriguez de Souza
P150801006-Helsinki_Liverpool-569x420.jpg

The Reds’ loaned Brazilian endured a frustrating afternoon for Finnish side SJK who ran out 3-1 winners against KooTooPee on Sunday.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder made his third start of the season, but was unfortunately withdrawn only eight minutes in after suffering an early injury.

The Rest
121020-089-Liverpool_Reading-518x420.jpg

Andre Wisdom was left out of match-day involvement for Norwich City’s draw with Liverpool at Anfield due to being ineligible to face his parent club – a frustrating feat after making his first Premier League start of the season and impressing last time out.
German striker Samed Yesil was an unused substitute for Markus Babbel’s FC Luzern in their emphatic 4-2 victory over Neuchatel Xamax on Sunday afternoon.

After only joining up for training this week with his loan club, Liverpool’s Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi was left out of FSV Frankfurt’s 1-0 away win against MSV Duisburg on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Wales international Harry Wilson watched on as an unused substitute as loan club Crewe Alexandra battled to a 1-0 away win at newly promoted Shrewsbury.
Finally, young left-back Joe Maguire was again an unused substitute for loan club Leyton Orient on Saturday – in their 1-1 home draw against fellow promotion chasers Wycombe.

Party: Brentford celebrate Marco Djuricin's winner
Brentford's 2-1 win over Preston was a much-needed tonic after a difficult start to the season at Griffin Park.
The Bees looked set to be heading for defeat before Sergi Canos' cameo ignited a fightback as goals from Lasse Vibe and Marco Djuricin overhauled Daniel Johnson's early strike.
Below are five key points from the victory.
Yes he Canos

Livewire: Sergi Canos

Looking at the Brentford bench before the game I couldn't see any of them coming on and being able to change the game given the inexperience in the forward positions. Sergi Canos proved me wrong with one of the most exciting half-hours I've seen in a long time.
The 18-year-old lit up Griffin Park with a bursting run forward and set up Lasse Vibe for his equaliser. Preston didn't know how to cope with him and soon found themselves behind to Marco Djuricin. The Liverpool loanee is a box of tricks and has no qualms in just taking on the defence.
He could have found himself sent off for two bookable offences, brought about by the exuberance of youth, and needed to be calmed down by the experienced Alan McCormack and Lasse Vibe. As long as he maintains that raw enthusiasm for playing football, Canos will go far in the game.

[article=http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-fc-starlet-ryan-kent-10101917?]New kid on the block Ryan Kent is excited by the chemistry that is developing among Coventry City’s potent looking forward line.

The on-loan Liverpool prospect sparkled on his Ricoh Arena debut against Chesterfield when he helped pull the strings in a thoroughly exciting attacking display.

Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbray has drafted in the England Under-20 international to fill the void left by James Maddison who is sidelined with a serious ankle injury, and if Saturday’s showing is anything to go by the teenager has slotted in seamlessly.

“I’ve played in that position many times and I really enjoy it,” he said. “And it is particularly enjoyable here because there’s a lot of chemistry building between us with Adam Armstrong, Jacob Murphy and Jim O’Brien who are good players to play with.

"There’s a lot of movement and pace in behind and a lot of creativity.

“There is a great balance in the team and the squad and we have got some really good fresh legs to come off the bench as well.

“It would have been nice to have got a goal myself but at the end of the day I am just happy to get the win and a good performance with a good result in the end.

“I’m really enjoying myself here and I just want to keep my place in the team, get lots of goals and create lots of chances and assists for the other players.”

Like Maddison on regular occasions before him, the nimble-footed Kent was subjected to the more physical side of the game.

“Chesterfield were a physical side but I thought I coped all right,” said the confident lad.

“Sometimes you just have to try to play around it and I think our creativity and talent was too good for them in the end.”

One way the opposition did manage to frustrate City at times was with their off-side trap.

“We’re so quick on the attack and it’s just a question of getting the runs right and making the pass at the right time,” he said.

“The pace is frightening up front. We do that in training where the tempo is very good and we try to take that out onto the pitch in games whenever we can.”

As well as being delighted to have settled straight into an exciting attacking line-up, Kent was quick to mention the role of his more defence-minded new team-mates.

“I can’t fault the defence,” he said.

“The forwards are relying on them, from our defensive midfielders, defenders and goalkeeper, I thought they were excellent for us out there and it was down to us up top to get the goal and the win.”[/article]

I reckon a team of our loanees would beat our actual team.

Sergi Canos came on after an hour for a 10 man Brentford team this afternoon. The Bees equalised within a few minutes of his appearance. He showed both great skill and determination and his marker, already on a yellow card, committed another foul on him and was sent off. A few minutes later he set up a great chance for Brentford to take the lead but it was missed. He's already a great favourite with the Griffin Park crowd who are hoping he gets a start in the game on Tuesday

[article]Young defender Joe Maguire has returned to parent club Liverpool after his one-month loan spell with Leyton Orient came to an end.

Ian Hendon had the option to extend the deal, but has chosen not to and the 19-year-old is now back at Anfield.

He made one start during his time at Brisbane Road in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy defeat at Luton Town and appeared on the bench on numerous occasions.

But with Frazer Shaw the first choice left-back and Alan Dunne also able to play there, the Liverpool man found chances hard to find and was left out of the matchday squad that went to Northampton Town on Saturday.

A statement on the official club website read: “We would like to thank Joe for his services and wish him all the best for the future.”[/article]

Did anyone see the vine of Lazar's gallop through the opposition midfield and defense at the weekend??

Ojo scored for Wolves tonight, really rate this lad and we desperately need a natural left sided forward.

Ojo's goal from last night.
If someone can figure how to imbed this then go ahead please.

Sergi Canos had his photo on the cover of the Brentford programme last night but not his name on the starting teamsheet. He came on with 20 or so minutes to go but found it hard to get in the game as Brentford struggled to cope with a disciplined and determined Birmingham team.
Also in the programme was a piece on an U-12 tournament at Brentford's training ground on Saturday. Teams from Barcelona, Bayern Munich, United and Santos, amongst others, but it was Liverpool who came out on top, beating the Mancs in the final and winning the Pele Trophy, presented by the great man himself.

[article=http://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/article/jones-set-for-spell-on-sidelines-2728155.aspx#RY6rfiZBHwBRk4Yb.99]Neil McDonald has confirmed that defender Lloyd Jones is set to be out for two to three months with an ankle problem.

The on loan Liverpool man attended Saturday's game against Swindon on crutches after sustaining the injury in the closing moments of the Chesterfield match.

"Lloyd's had scans and it looks like he's going to be out for a couple of months with his ankle injury. We'll support him through that and as soon as he's fit we'll get him back as quick as we can.

"We're all sorry that he's picked up the injury because he's been developing and progressing with each game."

Meanwhile, Kyle Letheren was forced to withdraw from a place on the bench on Saturday after dislocating his finger in the warm-up, while David Norris left the field at half-time with a calf problem. [/article]

[article=http://www.crewealex.net/news/article/chances-still-here-for-wilson-2742772.aspx#duCpGXp2jP6PBD4l.99]On-loan Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson will still get chances during his spell with Crewe Alexandra according to boss Steve Davis. The Welsh teenager has been limited to just three substitute appearances so far this season, but the Alex manager has revealed that he would have started his first senior game against Wigan Athletic in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy if he had not been away on International duty with the Wales Under-21.

Davis and his coaching staff have been impressed with Wilson’s attitude since signing on a youth loan from the Premier League side and they believe that he will get chance to gain some invaluable experienced at this level.

Steve told crewealex.net: “There are still chances here for Harry and he is working hard in training to get that opportunity. He would have played in the cup game against Wigan but he was away on International duty with Wales and then he would have been involved at Barnsley but again he was away.

“He played 70 minutes for Wales Under-21 on the Friday and that is why we didn’t get him back for Barnsley, like we did with Callum (Saunders) who didn’t play.

“Harry got a bit of knock in the game and it would have been pointless to get him back to sit on our bench after playing the majority of the game on the Friday.

The boss added: “Harry is here to gain experience and will be here for however long Liverpool or ourselves want him here. It is a good arrangement between the two clubs and he will get his chances. When he does then he knows it is up to him to take them.”[/article]

Sergi Canos made his first start for Brentford today and helped the Bees to a much needed win over Rotherham. Canos made several good contributions, though playing in a struggling team low on confidence means he doesn't always get as much of the ball as he should. One of the aspects of his game that is pleasing is that he allies his skill to work rate and is not frightened of a tackle.

Ilori not on the bench for Villa, another loss /0-2/ away from home vs. Chelsea.

Andre Wisdom is on the bench for Norwich. Their game against Newcastle away starts after 30 minutes

Sheyi Ojo ame in as substitute in the 61st minute. Good cameo for the winger, he assisted Le Fondre's goal, Wolves lost 2-4.

Sergi Canos is slowly becoming part of Brentford's first team. He played 69 minutes and helped his team beat relegation rivals Rotheram/2-1/

Vigoroux played 90 minutes for Swindon, his team lost 0-2 vs. Millwall. Jordan Williams and Stewart are still injured. Their absence is felt badly, Swindon have won a single point from their last 5 games.

Lloyd Jones is injured and was missing for for Blackpool. Away draw /0-0/ vs. Coventry.

Ryan Kent played 79 minutes for Coventry i n a disappointing 0-0 vs. Blackpool.

Harry Wilson stayed on the bench for Crew. His team dramatically concede in the end at home against Gills /0-1/

Bad times for Aberdeen, the dons are in a free fall at the moment. Lost 0-2 away against Ross County. Ward played 90 minutes. Ryan McLaughlin stayed on the bench

Allan played 90 minutes for SJK. Three points /0-2/ for his team and they are still league leaders.

Milan with a draw /1-1/ away from home vs. Torino. Balotelli is still injured.

Yesil came in 73rd minute as a late substitute for Luzern. At that time Luzern trailed 0-1 vs. Grasshopper and that was the final score of the game.
