Talk that he might not quite be ready for their second match, even better if that's the case. Should then be fully fit and raring to go at United.
 
Doesn't he have a decent record against the Mancs? Are am I just exaggerating because of that goal he scored when he bent it in the far corner?

I didn't consider it at all tbh, simply cos our club doesn't seem to encourage that (unlike other savvy clubs) & every English player we get seems to be a bloody patriot who wants to play every meaningless fucking friendly.

If he does play him, then he'll only have a few recovery days before the Scum match on Saturday afternoon. I'd like to see us start with Ings and Origi up front, then swap one for Tekkers in the second half.

He played 45 mins (1st half). More than enough time to rest, he must start. There is no comparing Ings or a young kid called Origi to Tekkers !
 
Belgium manger has lambasted his performance on the pitch..

That's at least a couple of times he's said it about him, didn't he call him a lamppost last time?
 
The Belgian manager regularly slags off his players. He said Hazard was shite yesterday as well. It may well be part of why a team with so many talented individuals seems to perform well below the standard you would expect.

He's looked everything but lazy in the first games he's played for us. How quickly some forget.

The problem is though, is that we bought them as strikers. There was also a lot of criticism that we tried to play Tekkers up front on his own, which is apparently not playing to his strengths. Therefore, we have to compare their strengths and weakness to him because surely, one of them will have to play up top with him, or replace him when he's injured.
 
Big big game for Christian.

It's exactly the type of match he was bought for. We won't see much of the ball an he'll have to hold it up well when we do get it.

Most of all we aren't going to create many chances so he needs to take any one's we do.
