Transfer Rumours

Plus if he leaves, it'll be tough to collect on that bet he made about how he would deliver 1k in crisp bills on a silver platter to somebody if Suso get sold for over 10M.

The manc does seem to have rather large rose tinted glasses about their current squad though. Last season, most people accepted that the majority were dog shit. This season, because of van moyes, it's seems having smalling, jones, cleverly, fletcher, carrick, valencia in your team is fine and they're all great players, and they're all criminally underrated. Although last season all of the above players were getting slaughtered by their own.

Hey, did we get fucking done on the Suarez deal?!!?

[article=http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28852919]Last month, he joined Barcelona for a reported fee of £75m but the Catalan club's vice president Jordi Mestre said on Tuesday the actual amount was significantly less.
"Negotiations started before the World Cup and we worked hard to come to a final figure of £65m. We were originally quoted over €90m (£72m).
"He had much better offers than ours financially but he wanted to come to Barcelona. He made a great effort - financially and personally - to be here."[/article]

No. I wouldn't believe a word those chisellers say but, even if we did the deal at £65 mill, that's (a) not far off the £72 mill.and (b) nearly three times what we paid for him.

The same way Santos got 'done' for the Neymar deal.

Denying other fans to post on this site is just an ignorant and stupid thing to do, if they are here for the right reasons.
The Manc lad is respectful and seems a decent lad. I couldnt care less if he supports Utd as long as he isnt a dick about it, which he isnt.
Some like to discuss football irrespective of which team you support, you'd think most of us would be on board with that.

I really dont get SilverSeans post either. If he bothers you put him on ignore FFS.

Ha! I duck out of the forum for a few days, I come back and @Silver Sean threatens to leave! It reminds me when I was kid and coming back from my Grandparents to find my parents had bought a brand new soda stream for the kitchen...

My cousins had a soda stream and we were always dead jealous of it.

Although, they were a bit shit.

What are the right reasons? I'd have zero interest to go on a rival fan's website and place nice. I'd nearly rather if he was here to wind us up and took a e-kicking for a few days before he was banned or he gave up. Maybe he is doing a case study on us?

Bollocks to them. Quite why we even entertain the notion of some 'friendly' Manc on here is beyond me. I'm sure there are United forums for them to talk shit on. Imagine spending all that time as a Reds fan on a United forum. Beggars belief.

Live and let live, brother!

Suarez was worth well north of 65. Even with the biting incident. He was arguably the 3rd best player in the world when we sold him.
Re Santos, they got what they were entitled to due to part ownership, so they got a good deal.

If he's here to talk about footy in general and not the Manc cunts.
We've had Arsenal fans and West Ham fans here earlier havent we?

Its just my opinion though. It doesnt bother me if he posts here.

Chastened seems like a decent lad.

But I have to admit this. Why anyone would go to a rival club's forum to post is beyond me ?

Unless of course he's a teenager still in puberty who just happens to be a football fanatic and can't stop thinking of football 24-7. That I can understand.

But if he's an adult, then there is a point you have to pause and ask yourself - what the bloody earth am I doing posting on a rival club's forum ? fiercest rival may I add.

Kinda sad don't u think ? (Hello ! Get a life maybe ?). I mean I'd rather he was a troll instead. That would be more fun.

Coming here acting all sane and sensible is kinda creeping me out.

It doesn't bother me either to be honest but I couldn't be arsed debating their CEO or something like that.

I post on shed end quite a bit, I'd probably post on redcafe if i could be arsed going through their promotion system. Tend to find you get relatively balanced discussions there, certainly more than you would on rawk

There are a number of Liverpool fans that appear to be regulars on RedCafe.

It's not uncommon to find rival supporters on forums and whilst I don't really get it either, the faux outrage and bemusement is silly.

Peter has the right idea.

Can we come back to transfer rumours?

Fulham youngster Patrick Roberts has reportedly been made a transfer target of Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.

The 17-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs in recent months, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, the Reds are prepared to steal a march on other potential suitors by submitting a bid for the England youth international in the near future, according to Goal.com.

The report added that Liverpool would be prepared to loan Roberts back to Fulham for the remainder of the ongoing campaign.

It is believed that Roberts is a boyhood Liverpool supporter, with his parents having been born on Merseyside.

Ha - funny clip that. I've read good things about this kid in these couple of weeks. If he's the business, we should save him from being destroyed by Magath.
