Goal was offside. Confirmed by Clattenburg in the studio over here.
Shame as we had done all the work getting infront.
No surprise it was from a set piece mind.

Some poor, some average and a few promising performances.

Agreed. The offside might be a legitimate grievance but it is papering over the list of systemic and individual mistakes as well as the tactical errors of our manager. We threw this one away far more than it was stolen from us.

Sort of agree, we didnt make the right decisions but it feels more of a loss given the goal should have been disallowed.
I didnt see the need for Gomez to come on, TAA was doing fine.
Why sub on Milner when you know they'll be dangerous from set pieces. Get Gruijc on, 6'3 and set him up on the first post. We used to have Gerrard there, and he dealt with a lot of the crosses hit at the first post.
Solanke deserved to come on instead of Origi as well.

Yeah. Every sub was a disaster, but we'd have got away with it if it wasn't for that utterly fucking stupid last one

Gomez started with giving away a stupid foul and then we were under pressure from set pieces.
Not good.

Im serious as a heart attack.
Hes a fucking muppet.

We wont win shit with him.

I'm willing to give Klopp the benefit of the doubt atm. I just want him to learn from his mistakes...that midfield... Fuck me.

Let's hope he doesn't treat Hoffenheim like a cup final. What is it, one in twelve?

Two years in.
3 goals shipped vs Watford.
And 7 of the starting 11 seriously bang average.

Refusing to sign players doesnt mean you can claim its not your team.

Its crap. Hes shite. Fuck his jovial banter. WIN GAMES. Be hard to beat. Get better players. Etc.

  • Mane has scored with his first shot on target in the Premier League in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.
  • Firmino has both scored more and assisted more Premier League goals than any other Liverpool player since the start of 2015-16 (22 goals, 15 assists).
  • Salah is the 12th different player to score on his Premier League debut for Liverpool.
  • Liverpool's Sadio Mane has netted five goals in his past seven Premier League appearances.

I'd far more easily accept the argument that klopp isn't a great manager than that he is a cunt.

What is a cunt is that job. Feel the most insecure and desperate approximation of love at the glimpse of any success, feel the weight of years of frustration and expectation, and stay long enough to be hated.

I find him pretty inoffensive, personally and i also think he's doing a pretty decent job.

I can see why oppo fans might think he's a cunt, but our own?

But then, I guess, I look who's calling him a cunt and then maybe i shouldn't be surprised.

It's a bad first day. That has a big impact, childish though it is. If we'd played a big club first and won, then tripped up like we did at Burnley last season, and also not had the Coutinho farce, the reaction would probably have been less shrill, less emotional, less personal and generally more like fans rather than world class but inexplicably unemployed managers. The best way to deal with that game is to go away and do something grown up, block out football coverage for a couple of days and regain a bit of sanity. That's what I'll do anyway.
