Why are English supporters the most pitiful in world football?

From your pitiful opening post to this, your bigoted rhetoric has focused on virtually only one set of supporters and you have ignored all reports/facts indicating that it is, as usual, a very small minority (in the case of all supporters of countries that have been involved), often it has been under extreme provocation and that often conservative, normal, supporters have been caught up just trying to get away from attacks / police action.

I suppose it's to be expected coming from an Irishman living in Australia. With the potential for anti-English bias to be indoctrinated from birth in both countries but your desperation to make mud stick is extreme.

Let's be very clear, I'm no fan of the drunken English hooligans that have been causing damage / spouting abuse / assaulting the police / fighting. Pity it's not China and they could all be shipped off somewhere and re-educated'.
I'm also no fan of the 'English drinking culture' which is the cause of so much of young people's social issues in the UK and that spawns much of this anti-social behaviour, but your lack of perception and failure to consider the sheer numbers of English supporters over there (and therefore the very low % of bad apples will still generate a substantial figure) and the behaviour of the hooligans of other nations involved in anti-social incidents in France, plus your continued stance of "your pitiful supporters' without any qualification, is mystifying.

You shouldn't have started this thread, your reputation is taking a hammering the more you continue your anti-English diatribe.

You do have pitiful supporters.

How would you like me to qualify it? Show you some more examples?

You seem really upset that I'm pointing out the behaviour of your fans. I suggest you ignore this thread. And football in general.

And the news.

Pathetic. There are a minority of supporters from quite a few nations who are idiots Ryan, Irish countrymen have done some stupid, violent things too, but I'm not banging on about how it's "your" people.

A few dickheads have no relevance to one of the largest groups of International supporters, or this country, or any of us. so fuck off with the continuous "your" jibes, they mean absolutely fuck all to anyone here nor the average England supporter. I'm not making this up, so quit with your transparant attack on us.

So you don't actually know why your supporters continue to cause scenes of vandalism, racism, hooliganism, and fighting whenever they go to international tournaments?

It's quite perplexing isn't it?

You'd think they'd get bored.

I think their end is violence, Ryan. Nothing more.

I'd think they'd get bored also. But they obviously don't.

I think you're quite deliberately lumping all England supporters in together. But you're getting the attention you are obviously craving. So kudos to you.

How do you describe someone as bigoted and then in the very next paragraph say its what you'd expect from an Irishman in Australia .....
Bolded the bit you obviously (chose to) ignore. Can you also please show me where I used the word 'expect' ? Am I basing that comment on a misconception or fact ? Historically is that a falsehood ? Therefore is there not the potential ? And if so therefore the comment can't be bigoted.

With the potential for anti-English bias to be indoctrinated from birth in both countries but your desperation to make mud stick is extreme.

Maybe you should look up the definition of bigoted.

You might recognise yourself

I guess Syrian's & European Muslims should feel responsible everytime a Jihadist from their respective Country or religion gets violent. Start a topic in GC Ryan, it'll go down well.

Btw Frogfish - Ryan quoted where you used the word expect.

You bigoted fuck.

Even your fellow idiot club member Cloggypop removed a like from your post when he re-read it.

Are you going to stand over this shit?

Use noted. I really shouldn't haven't used that as a sentence when it was followed by a qualifier in the next.

So bigoted no. And the feeling is mutual, I can't stand your guts either.

Errr.. I never said I don't know why they do it, I said they're a minority and they don't represent England, or any English person on here. Just like violent fans from other nations don't represent their people. I suspect you know that and know what people have tried to say throughout this thread, but you keep conveniently ignoring it because it doesn't help your obvious attempts at trolling English posters. There have been first hand accounts from people who have been there, posting in this thread telling you how good and non-violent the vast majority of supporters are. Again ignored. There have been stats posted about the percentages of nationalities arrested. Again ignored.

When did you become this poisonous troll?

Like I said earlier in the thread, alot of our seasoned, rational posters have gone to the effort of posting thoughtful responses to this thread and you've ignored pretty much all of them. You're responding to me because I've kept questioning you, and you've targeted cannon fodder elsewhere throughout the thread (that's big of you), and treated Oncy to the same your responsibility rhetoric, when he's clearly been completely respectful to you and expressed his, otherwise, admiration for you in general. See, that's what people do, that's what many English do. Clearly not all of them, but then such is life.

I'm done responding, because you clearly don't want a conversation with anyone about this, despite a transparent, muddled together question about why people aren't bothered, a question that's been answered over and over and over. So for the last time. Guess what Ryan? People are disgusted with what violence has gone in France. As "people" we're disgusted with violence in general, I know that doesn't fit in with the chair throwing, lager lout stereotyping that was the narrative here, but that's just the way the peaceful, average Joe rolls. Ah ... thats lovely.

Unfortunately i don't get emotional about posters. Especially not the bigoted ones who launch defences of Adam Johnson because we don't know whether the girl was just 15 or nearly sixteen.

You're deplorable.

This thread whist highlighting the English propensity to act badly at football matches highlights a similar trait in Irishmen on football forums*

As an Englishman, when you watch it and see it on the news every 2-4 years, do you cringe?

I cringe for them yeah, just like I cringe when a religious loon goes on a rant, or Boris Johnson speaks, or Adele sings. It's not really a cringe because they might be the same Nationality as me. It would be the same as Dreamy's posting efforts tainting my view of the Irish, I mean, that would be tough on you guys. Loads of people make me cringe, it's not exclusive to any nation.

And you're hysterical.

I can't find the thread (there was never any defence of Johnson - only the process of law, how ironic is that) but I'm sure you can so post the link so other posters can see for themselves how you like to pervert other posters comments (an enduring trait) to suit your rhetoric.

Why are people still feeding the troll.
Who gives a shit. Its a bit tragic, but every poster is a bit tragic sometimes. The world will continue to roll.
Lets move on.

Here you go Froggy.

Good. First let's be clear that this was breaking news and no details of the case were known - at all.

Now people can see for themselves that I was debating around two points a) the age of consent and how it is affected by religious beliefs and cultural mores b) innocent until proven guilty.

Encapsulated by this post :
What Johnson did or didn't do is just conjecture at this stage, eventually the truth will come out. However I was far more interested in the social mores of different cultures. Fascinating stuff.
