Okay. The rules are changing for this summer regarding transfers. Teams are now only allowed to sell 5 players (this includes releasing players).
Which 5 would you sell/release.

Our board have stated they will hand over 20m for transfers and that all the money from sales will go towards signings.

So thats it. 5 out plus 20m to create your squad for next year.
What do you do?
 
Oh and kewell doesnt count as a release, as he is out of contract.

Ok, so Lahm isn't a better full back. Bently isn't a better right winger.

Petrov isn't better than Babel on the left wing and Cruz isn't better than Crouch.

This team is miles better and would get great results.

Two proper wingers to cross to a big target in Cruz. Torres not having to shoulder the burden of the lone striker could drop off and link with Gerrard leaving Masher to do what he does best.

LOL....I used to fall for those bollocks 'lists' at the twilight of my football forum years.

It was so fun.......calculating our 'budgets' for the summer.

Player X = Value + 20m warchest = 40+ m


Haahahaha......face it lads, we'll be luck to spend more than 20-25 m NET.
 
There's a lot of players in our squad I want rid of, but I'll go with the ones I think are dispensable that we will get the most for. So..

Alonso - £14m
Crouch - £10m
Carson - £7m
Pennant - £6m
Riise - £5m

That's over £40m. There's loads of players I'd like to see come in so it's difficult to say exactly who I want, but roughly: a £15m right winger (someone like Quaresma, Ben Arfa, Menez) with another versatile attacking player (a left winger or attacking midfielder) costing around £10m, perhaps Fernandez or Arshavin. Then roughly another £10m on a left back.

EDIT: I like Keniget's picks.
