Hammy bad news at any time. Bloody Internationals.
On the other hand, a hamstring doesn't usually last very long and it saves Andy from the risk of breaking his leg against the Belgians. Besides giving him a bit of a rest.
Read somewhere that he might miss the start of the season.
With a hamstring issue? Must be one hell of a tear.
Doesn't sound too serious does it?
The story on the Sky Sports website does have the sub-heading "Robertson could miss start of 2019/20 Premier League season."
However the same story quotes the Scotland manager as saying ""He tried everything he could [to be ready for today], he did the training session last night, but he woke up and still felt it so no good. And it is a great chance for Greg Taylor."
Which doesn't make it sound as if the injury is that serious.
We could all miss the start of the premier league season, technically.
I’m in Spain then , so I probably will.
