Has anyone any experience (or ever considered) using an automated strategy for gambling?

No. I gamble for fun and involving myself with bots and algorithms seems far too dull. Also, I reckon there was money to made for the first few years of bots but I reckon the market is now saturated and the returns wouldn't justify the time/expense.

    Ah, thanks.

    Forgot I posted this!

A friend reckons there is some money to be made with certain automated strategies, which from my limited understanding seem to be based around a system that can respond very quickly to market fluctuations by backing and laying accordingly - so not too dissimilar to the stock market. It does seem as though that others will have already done / tried this though and as such most of the angles will be blocked off.

In the stock market they've moved on to building computer algorithms to predict what the algorithms trying to predict the price are going to do. And yet more algorithms are built to predict what the algorithm predicting what the algorithm predicting the price is going to do. It's all very silly, and turns into a game of I know what you're thinking, but you know that I know, but I know that you know that I know, but..... good luck.
