British Open Golf

Threw some money on Justin Rose, McDowell, and Gary Woodland.

Rose looks in great form.

Done three in it.
Adam Scott@16s,Rory@18s and Hideki Matsuyama@66s
All three have the game for links golf.
Don't know why I've backed Rory he's a Thursday genius but a Friday flop.
Rose is playing some brilliant golf and Mickleson done the same Scottish/British open double last year so it's not impossible anymore.
Anyway I think Adam Scott will win he's been the most consistent golfer in the majors over the last 5 years.
His laser like long irons can work a treat on this course.

Ernie Els at 80-1, great value that, also got Snedeker at 55-1 and some long shots in Coetzee, Grace, Sterne and Senden, all 150/200-1, bit of a South African theme there.

Last 3 years the winner has been over 40 years old, would be nice to see Westwood to carry that on and finally get his win, his odds are more than decent 50/60-1, Bjorn as well for an old timer is around 60-1.

Was going to have a bet on Garcia but at 25-1 doesn't seem a good price for him, out of the Americans Zach Johnson at 40/50-1 looks a decent bet, he can play well on the links.

You can make a case for loads of them really, i'd go with Scott for the win also if it was just one pick, he is due an Open and will surely win one at some point.

Also Luke Donald, he'll go do it again won't he? prediction - 77.

Fail to do himself justice, you mean? Almost certainly. He's the Arsenal of pro golfers - bags of ability, bugger all bottle.

Pretty much, its the blowing himself out of the majors in the first round thing with him, just this year hes gone 79, 77 in the first 2.

He has consistently done it, even when he was right up there in the rankings, like you say he has bags of ability, it really is inexcusable for him to be doing it so often.

Love watching Rory when he is in form like this, no-one can live with him.

It doesn't look like he does winning majors by 1/2/3 shots, its crush them or nothing.

He's a phenomenal golfer when he's on but yesterday showed how he's maturing.
Things weren't going his way and Garcia was getting freaky amounts of luck but he stuck at it and played it like Tiger would have done.
Fairways and greens.
