Yeah very early but hell why not. Slow day.

Anyway these are the IFs, BUTs and MAYBEs as it stands.

The potential opponent from Group A would be Atletico Madrid - who knocked Klopp's side out of the competition last season - but FC Red Bull Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow can still qualify for the knockouts in second spot.

Group B is still up for grabs with Borussia Monchengladbach, Shakhtar Donetsk, Real Madrid and Inter Milan still all potential opponents for Liverpool.

FC Porto would be the option from Group C if the draw panned out that way, while Sevilla, who are level on points with Chelsea in Group E, could face the Reds in the last 16 too.

Borussia Dortmund, Lazio and Club Bruges can all still qualify in second place out of Group F, while it's most likely Juventus who will finish second in Group G, though it's possible Barcelona may drop down to second in the final couple of group matches.

Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig are the potential opponents out of Group H for Liverpool.

And Manchester City will play...Havant & Waterlooville?

The draw for the last 16 will take place on Monday, 14 December at Uefa's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

1. Teams finishing top of their group will be drawn against a team finishing second in a different group.
2. Clubs cannot face a side they met in the group stage and ...
3. At this stage of the competition, teams from the same country cannot be drawn against each other. That is allowed to happen from the quarter-finals, the draw for which takes place on 19 March, alongside the semi-finals.

The last-16 ties are two-legged and will take on 16/17 and 23/24 February, and 9/10 and 16/17 March.

Fuck means we avoid 3 easy teams in the last 16 :(

A great barometer to use when you're in doubt whether some knows what they're on about or not, is to ask them if they rated Lucas highly.

If they do, they're almost certainly a spacker.

Reactions: jan
Something happening in the PSG game, the team from Istanbul just walked off the field, I think in protest, and PSG has followed.

Apparently the 4th official made a racist remark towards an assistant coach.

The ref allegedly said: 'jucatorul negru', which is translated as 'the black player'. 'Negru' and 'negro' are very similar in pronounciation.

Romanian official argued the pronunciation was lost in translation, with no racism intended..

I just think it was a little naive from the 4th official tbf..

The question here is why does he have to refer to the player or coach or person as "black"?
He wouldn't have said the "white" whatever...

The ref made it racial.

But there's a very simple solution. Rescind the red card and apologise.
