What do you expect? He plays for Everton. I'd be miserable too.
Yeh ok but even at Watford.
Guy cannot crack a smile.
Research demonstrates he's doing the right thing by keeping a grumpy visage. shudders
He's even uglier with a smile
Looks like he's trying to pretend he's enjoying something up his arse
Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is in talks with Liverpool over another extension to his Anfield contract, according to a report.
The Senegal international – who is currently contracted with the Reds until 2023 after putting pen to paper on fresh terms in November last year – has started the season in impressive form, scoring six goals and assisting one other in seven appearances.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schria, Liverpool are now in talks with Mane over tying the winger down until 2025, with the new proposition featuring £11.5m in wages per year.
Mane reportedly earns around £150,000 a week on his current deal – equating to £7.8m a year – meaning the fresh terms that have allegedly been offered will raise the player’s wage by over £3m a year.
Mane signed for Liverpool from Southampton for £34m in the summer of 2016, and has scored 65 goals in 130 appearances for the club.
Fair enough. Waiting for @Rosco to say this is a bad idea
No way we’d be offering a new contract 10 months after the previous one.
I think I heard someone saying that deGea is on 400 a week with his new contract. Them mancs are nuts, but it definitely puts pressure on us to raise the bar, even annually
It is a terrible idea to put new news at the end of an old thread simply because the person's name is in the thread title.
It's a forum killer.
And the contract?
It's absolutely fine so long as Sadio keeps up the doping regime.
I'm not so sure you know, we're way behind the biggest sides in wages, which has been done on purpose, but with the real risk that one of the few clubs who can feasibly try to take one of our stars may well do so, I'm fairly sure the club would prefer to spend enough to reassure them that they're valued & try to head off any advances before they get too serious.
His basic wages should be up there with the other front three and then give comparable game based bonuses.
Ok - after the Napoli, and Chelsea game, need to ask - are all three a little tired now or something ? - the last two matches they seem to be off-tune ? - the only co-incidence is that both of those matches were away games.
