Getting to know you, getting to know....

Hi there.....

Im Gareth Jones, Im 27 (28 in april) and live in Bournemouth (South UK by the sea!). I was originally born in Oxford and family originally from Chesterfield Derbyshire.

I live with my mate in a shitty little town called Ringwood near Bournemouth. I have a girlfriend/shag of 38 years of age and am not married or have any sprogs.

I work as a Design Engineer in the electronics field designing all sorts of stuff for Military, NHS etc........

I started supporting Liverpool FC from around the age of 7 or 8 when I was given the 86 - 87 home and away strips as hand me downs from my cousin (who obviously still supports LFC to this day). I have been to Anfield but never watched a game unfortunately. I have watched LFC play quite a few times in the past when they have visited Southampton FC at the Dell and St Mary's. Would go to Portsmouth but they are a bunch of inbreds.....

My hobbies include: Drinking, Clubbing (I love a bit of Hard House / Trance), Football (5 a side), Cycling, Swimming, Golf. I also do a lot of Graphic Design and also do some mixing (dj).....

Thats about it really!

Nice to meet you.

Name: Charlie/Charles
Age: 19
Occupation Student at Liverpool studying forensic psychology.

I'm an only child. I was born in Derry (N. Ireland) but moved to Warwickshire when my parents separated when I was 8 months old and happily lived there with my mum for 18 years. Currently living in Kensington, but i'm moving into Penny Lane next year.

I started supporting Liverpool when I was 9/10 but it increased a lot when I went to secondary school because everyones football mad and you have to know your stuff. As much as I love Football and following Liverpool it does come behind Rugby and Cricket in the pecking order of things

I've played Rugby to be a high level (England youth teams) as well as Tennis, I play football and cricket in the summer for fun.

Politically i'm centre right.

Traveling is a big passion of mine, spending 7 months in South America was possibly the biggest thing i've done, but I hope to add to that list. Planning on Inter-railing around Europe this year which I'm looking forward to
My favourte band is The Velvet Underground, but I also like Pulp, The Verve, The Libertines, Blur, Milburn, Maximo Park, (Pre Elephant) White Stripes.

My name is Mike.

I'm 22.

I have had a girlfriend for nearly three years and it's sound but i fancy my xbox 360 a little bit more than i fancy her.

I have a job.

It's shit.

I record bands.

It's boss.

In yoda speak...

Jedi Master Mikio Heanth, I am.

Hhhhmmmmm......23 i will be soon.....terrible paaaain.

Girlfriend, i do, nice tits, she has, xbox 360.....hhhhmmm...more enjoyable, it is slightly.

Job, i hate.

Recording bands, good it is.

HHHHMMMMMMM?!?!?!

name's Avvy.

34 year old lawyer.about 5'9".

born in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia.

notoriously bad at spelling and punctuation.

been with my girlfriend for 3 years who puts up with my obssession for all things Liverpool.

been supporting the club for 26 years.

i have one idiot brother who supports the Scum for no other reason other than to piss me off.one of his old Scum shirts now lovingly wipes the dirt of my feet.

my dad likes Liverpool because he thinks Rafa's a humble bloke and Slur/Jose/Wenger is full of shit (Jose in particular)

dont play sports (unless watching Liverpool and following the club's exploits is considered a sport)

i like alcohol, especially whisky and Coke.

need to go back to the gym.

i actually do day-dream about serious injuries occurring to C. Ronaldo and Shrek. (please forgive me)

i also dream about no. 19.although no.6 would be nice too.

i plan to visit Anfield.

(or whatever the hell they call the new place, if i dont collect the funds in time)

i plan to go there with my girlfriend.she has to see why this place is special.

that about covers it, i think.

And hello to you.

I am Jamie, J or JK, 25 years old, born in Birkenhead, but moved to Barnsley when my parents split up, roughly when I was 4. Despite efforts of my bluenose father (I like to think that is the very reason my mum divorced him) Liverpool FC was drummed into me by my Grandma and Grandad at an early age.

I currently work in Leeds, as a Business Development Coordinator, basically helping people become self-employed, or people already in business.

I play Sunday league football, and 5-a-side, but enjoy most sports. I could watch Sky Sports all day, but enjoy Rugby league, American Football, Golf, Snooker, Pool and Darts. I like the odd flutter here and there after a spell a while back with gamblers anonymous.

I seem to have spent an age on these internet forums, with KopTalk before here, and recognise the names, I just haven’t had the time to contribute much, and when I do, its nothing to exhilarating, I like to think I talk a good game, but struggle to get the words out right in a forum set up. Despite this, I like to think I am rather loyal, and although I check the odd forum here and there, I tend to stay where I set up.

Bought my first house 2 years ago, and can’t really see how I have dented my mortgage. Still, I feel like a man with my tool box and power tools, and walk around the house, drill in hand and screwdriver in my pocket looking for something to destroy.

I love cartoons, new and old, Thundercats, He-Man, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, MASK, Dogtanian, Bravestarr, Uylesses 31 and recently Family Guy, American Dad and The Simpsons.

Just your standard lad, who enjoys a beverage, a flutter and the odd dabble with the chemicals.

Haha, I remember that post. But no, that is not me. I have always been around as Red_Till_I_Die and it was JaimeK as apposed to JamieK. Am I right in thinking he was from Tokyo?

Yes.Age,late twenties, early thirties.Location be London but grew up in Liverpool, went to school there, then went abroad for 2 years. Came back to UK and worked job at HMP Altcourse. Didnt enjoy it to say the least. same old shite so applied to uni. go in at london where I still reside and fester. Used to be a koptalker, then things for Dunk went pearshape, notified about this place so here I be form time to time. I like to mention a special thanks to Sheiky for introducing me to the site. We have had our tiffs in the past but we shall always be good buddies.
I like Jaffa cakes, can eat a twin multipack in one go. I can go without food for long periods too. My fav LFC player are Sammy Lee, Ian Rush who I met at the services once and he gave me his autobiography, and Alan Hansen. My biggest regret is I have never been to Anfield, although I one day hope to rectify that. Dont really want to go alone so hoping to go with someone from one the LFC forums. That is the plan. Havent been back to Kirkby for a long long time. I am mainly a lurker type person but occasionally I will go mental and post. I like to keep up todatw with goiings on at LFC and some of the sub forums here can be entertaining. I have a gf who I live with but she hates football and recently cancelled our sky sports subsrciption which made me cry. I was spendng too much time watching footy apparently. which is why im so knowledgeable about the game but not so much now as i feel out of date and have to go to the pub to watch games which i can find annoying as I need maximun concentration to analyse the game. i dont need fuckwits spoutin off crap and talkin loud so i cant hear the commentary, now i take my pocket radio and listen to the radio commentary which helps to drown out the nuttters. not many lfc supporters here where i am.mostly chelsea.i may add some more info later.cant think of anything else.

Kevin - 48, born in UK but expat for the last 26 years.

Lived on the Wirral and worked on the docks (Seaforth). Later lived in Netherlands, Belgium, France, Yugoslavia (Sarajevo), Austria, Nigeria, Hong Kong and now China.

Wife is Chinese and our daughter goes to Uni in the UK.

I've owned three businesses (retail, restaurants and now relocation / real estate) as well as working as a dog-handler for C&E and managing casinos. Opening a real estate branch office of my current business in Phuket later this year and hopefully that's where we'll eventually retire to spending our time between the UK /Shanghai / Phuket.

Love all types of music from classical to 70's Rock, 80's pop, to hip-hop & R&B. First LP was T.Rex - Electric Warrior and first single was McGuinness Flint - Dead and Gone. Used to spend every lunch time listenign to up and coming bands in the indie record shops in the area around The Cavern. Best ever concert : The Skids in The Cavern, The Who, Status Quo, Deep Purple and Boston.

Past times : computers / work / scuba diving (which is where my moniker comes from) / photography - both above and below water / golf ( I arrange 11 competitions per year and run golf leagues). Sports mad - I'll watch or try almost anything. Love to try base jumping - awesome cliffs in Norway !

Love Cloudy Bay as Sauvignon Blanc is my white wine.

Zero political affiliations - in fact I hate the bastards, every last one of them. Hate what they have done to Britain with their ineptitude - blind visionaries.

Have a fantastic Doberman who I love to bits, especially when he 'sings' at night - my daughter named him Gangster (she's into hip-hop)

I used to go to Anfield a lot as a youngster, felt dead big in my Flemings & DM's on the bus ! Best ever game I attended was against St. Etienne.

Have lived a full life so far and am now looking forward to watching / helping my daughter's life & happiness.

Spend far far too much time on here (and KT before that) and other photography and scuba diving forums :D

Hi I'm the refugee or Dave, and used to be on Koptalk from way back in the days before they had a website and instead had a mailing list. Though I never posted much and never made it into the first team forum. I'm 24 and currently in uni studying Business with computing.

I'm a Liverpool supporter from as long as I can remember and have seen them play live about 15 times so far, with the intention of going a lot more assuming I have money some day (currently trying to get PSV tickets).
The only other sports I watch are snooker and pool. I used to watch F1 until it became a joke, though I hear it has improved recently so I might go back to it.

I live in Limavady, and I lived in Edinburgh for a year, though I hated it and moved back. I also enjoy the occasional drink of beer, or a whisky (straight or with a dash of water depending on the type). I also love computer games(especially when combined with the aforementioned drinks).

EDIT - I have lots of political views and probably don't fit into one particular group, if I had to say though I'd be slightly right wing.

I'm Roland Ashley Grantham
36 years old
Grew up in Pietermaritzburg (Sleepy Hollow) and spent my teenage years clubbing in Durban.
Living in Johannesburg for the past 18 odd years and loving it.
I'm married going on 11 years which is absolutely unbelievable.
I have 7 kids, 2 from my wife.
Still got inches to spare... :p
I love women, wine and leisure to name a few.........

Participated in all sport at school level, footy, volleyball, athletics and table tennis. I had the time seen that I was suspended from half of my classes. Truly a brat I was.
Was a supreme sprinter (100, 200 and 4x 100 m plus long jump) back in the day. Played football and won just about every local cup and league title on offer with Cosmos and later Thistles. Hold (Natal) provincial colours for both.

Been supporting Liverpool since about 6 years old and just about all my life. Witness the golden years and looking forward to it again.

Currently working as a Business Manager for Deloitte (SA)

I Am Jason from Seattle. I am 30. Just moved back here after living in San Francisco. Was living in Cairo for a couple years before that.

Currently writing a book about living in Egypt and working odd jobs to make ends meet.

Recently, got married to my wonderful wife, Sophia. We both love to travel and actually fell in love in Egypt where I proposed in the Sahara Desert overlooking the Pyramids. Been to five continents so far. Favorite places: Cairo, The Galilee, Rome, Santa Fe.

Growing up in the States, I thought "soccer" was a game only pussy's played, because they couldn't play real sports (like the one's I and every other non-pussy played - football, baseball, basketball).

Then came 1998 and the World Cup before my senior year at the university. My new roommates were going crazy about this thing starting so I figured I'd watch it. Fuck man, I couldn't get enough. This was the sport I had dreamed of. I was hooked. Two hours for a match, no fucking commercials, no time outs, strategy, build-up, I loved it. And then Michael Owen takes off against Argentina and scores that goal. It was the greatest individual piece of athletic skill I had ever seen. That was my new favorite player. Who's he play for I asked? Liverpool. That's who I'm fuckin' supportin' then. And the rest is History.

Went to Anfield in '99 and watched Liverpool beat Arsenal 2-0. Now my wife, bless her heart, wants to go. She's a good woman.

Other than that, I love coffee and cigarettes. I believe religion has underlying truth, but man fucks it up. I believe that we are fucking up this planet and need to get our collective shit together so when my future kids grow up they can have things like trees, and clean water. And I believe that we should truly live life and not let it live us.

That's the important stuff.

Did you do all the hikes in the Galilee and Golan? That's where I hope to live one day - differently the most serene area I've ever spent a summer in.

She is. In fact, I turned down a negotiated price of 5,000,003 camels for her in Egypt. Which I remind her of on occasion.

Sheik's probably the one who offered 5,000,003 camels.
