Is it premature to start worrying about TAA defensively?
I can't be alone in seeing all of the defensive mistakes he's doing especially at the start of this season?
I'd like to see Trent play on the right side of the midfield trio some time in the future. Like Milner or Henderson.
We won the CL and recorded our highest league tally largely with him playing at RB.
Not saying he doesn’t have his dodgy moments, he does... but his pros outweigh his cons and there is no decent alternative. We never look more solid with Gomez at the back but always poorer offensively.
I agree, I'm just saying, it's becoming more and more apparent that he's our weakness in defence.
Pure like farming
He's been the target for over a year. He started slower last season as well.
He will probably always remain slightly suspect, but with his assists and what he offers I can take it. With the defense playing higher, it’s more likely to be even more risky. However I bet every single team he plays against worries more about his threat rather than focus on him as a weakness. Let him get better, learn his position and improve on his defensive position rather than move him to another position when we don’t really have a viable option and I include Gomez in that.

Keep their assist up around 10 each and that would be amazing.
I doubt they’ll get that many though.
Ya I’ve no problem with TAA defensively issues as long as he continues to offer that outlet
Hes not the best defensively and will probably never be the best.
But hes 20 and hes our local boy with incredible crossing attributes and dead piece situations, can create a goal from nothing.
Dont see how moving him to a wide midfield position would work in our system
Poetry in motion...
What was Klopp so angry with Bruce about as we equalised. Had they been arguing about the var peno decision?
He was giving Bruce loads in celebration.
It’s because he’s got a big fat head.
In fairness the rest of his body has now caught up with the fatness of his head
I'd like to see the moment of Newcastle's defender falling on his face.
Its the sign of Champions that we beat a team managed by Fat Head. Or the Acoplypse.
Its 7 isnt it?
5 wins from 5 is good but I can't help but think if we'd signed some more players in the summer we'd have more points.
