    One thing I never know about American wrestling is, do the fans know it's fake and like the entertainment, messing about and general slapstick, or do they still think it's somehow real?

    They carried on cheering once when the blue blazer's harness failed and he fell from the roof of the stadium into the ring. He died.

    Some people believe it's real:

    http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_wrestling_fake_in_any_way

    Remember though that WWF paid huge chunks of audience members when it first started to behave the way they do, & now of course all the real audience do the same. [/quote]

    There's s book I read in my teens, the unknown wrestler, or the real wrestker, something smilar, where he explains how WWF got the fans to behave & that's how they did it during the first televised bouts to encourage things.

    so essentially it comes down to;
    eating too many eggs
    snorting too many eggs
    shooting yourself in the face with an egg

    There's loads more than that DHSC, I saw a list last year and it's unbelieveable - the first 2 ommissions that spring to mind are Chris Benoit (suicide) and Eddie Guerrero (heart attack). I'm quite sure Crash Holly died recently too but not sure under what circumstances.

    Pesam - the list is actually a list of the 14 performers who had took part in Wrestlemania VII. There were 51 participants (wrestlers, refs, valets etc etc) and 14 of them have since died.
