Come out today if I'm not mistaken.

Always exciting to see when the big games are on and if we get a home game first up.

I'm home in November for the first time in years and definitely plan on getting over to Liverpool whether there is a game or not to catch up with people see the changes to the ground.

A home game would be nice the 2nd week of November!

Hopefully we get an easy start to build some momentum.

Big games against the top 6 on a Sunday after CL and Europa league would be great also.

We are definitely not getting a home game for the first game. I think due to Main stand construction finishing schedule, we have requested the premier league to start the season with a bunch of away games.

We always get a tough away game first and this season will be no different.
I'm guessing West Ham or Soton.

We dont leave the North from the 3rd December until late Feb which is pretty cool.

Liverpool have written to Burnley, btw, to ask about switching game schedule for Anfield on August 20 to be played at Turf Moor.

... on the basis that all the other games are really hard so we don't want any easy ones like a home game against a newly promoted team

What's our record of winning after an international break? Looks like October will be fun.

I'd heard that the FA had already cleared us to play away games for the first few games. So that was all bullshit. Hmmm. Bummer.

That how many years with an away game to begin with? Christ.
So, we ask the Premier League to play the first two games away. Nope.

Mourinho will probably get a great start aswell with those jammy fixtures.

The word from the building site is they'll be surprised if we play a home game before October.

If Burnley accept the switch to Turf Moor, the first home game will be Leicester on the 10th of September. They got their work cut out for them if thats true..

You seem to be acknowledging the fact we asked to start the season with away games whilst also bemoaning the fact we start with an away game in the same post...

Yeah, it was more that we start with a tough away game, again. I stand corrected on the away games this season that was obviously poorly worded :)

Last 10 years we've played 4 home games and 6 away games. So, I stand corrected regardless. Its probably more the teams we've played: Stoke twice, Arsenal twice, Spurs, Soton, WBA. Not to many "easy" openers.

Imagine actually moaning about playing Arsenal on the first day of the season.

They got dicked at home by West Ham last season. Villa the year before. No wonder the Russians can kick our heads in you fucking pussies.

Haha! True. We've won 1 the last 10 there though. But maybe a good time to play them as you say.
