Oh, we, round these parts, say it to mean 'having a bubble*'.

*But obviously don't want to say bubble.

I'm not winding you up. Well, not purposefully anyway.
The above quote from you makes no sense whatsoever!

Pacquiao has fought at 106lbs for all bar 1 of his fights (which was at 135)
That's not true at all.

But yes, for the reasons you state, De La Hoya should win comfortably.

He'd also beat Hatton.

Yeah you're right. He's has only fought once at 135 but he has fought between 122-130 on 18ish occasions.

Hatton v Pacquiao would be a very good match up, to close to call for me.
Hatton v De La Hoya would be a easy win for De La Hoya imo.

I thought something would have been mentioned about the beginning of Oisin Fagan's pro career. He's Irish but went to college in America and worked for a few years. Apparently he ran into some green card difficulties and was unable to work.

He eventually decided he wanted to come home, but hadn't got any money and was too proud to ask his family for help.

He had boxed a few times at amateur level, so went to a local gym and told the man in charge he needed his ticket fare home to Dublin and wanted to fight a pro fight to pay pay for it. He won and that's where it all began.

How does 'having a bubble' mean scrapping?

Where's the relevance? 'Having one' in Liverpool could mean anything, a shag, a pill, a wank, a ciggie, loadsa stuff, not fight though.

You southerners are weird.
It's not a proper southern phrase.. have never heard it

Having a bubble has only ever meant having a laugh.
When we say someone is bubbling, it means they're crying.

I've never heard of Froch or Pascal but will be watching anyway

Good night of boxing ahead, i can't wait.

Just dumped on Oscar to stop him in either the 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th at 16/1

Fucking hell.

You dont get much more one sided than that.

Enzo just destroyed that no-mark they pulled in from the nearest boozer, it lasted halfway through the second, & I think Enzo took it easy for some of it to drag it out.

Anyone watching the Froch fight?

Cracking scrap.
Fucking great fight.

Two rounds gone on after the bell, loving it.

Froch had an ace round there in 7.

He's used that jab & reach advantage to great effect & Pascal tiring now.
