I love Sami. He was brilliant for us. One of our all time greats. But I reckon pretty much every team he played for at LFC played deep. I just can’t see him being able to play so high, and that team above would play with a high line.
Maybe Babbel to partner VVD? Or am I remembering things wrong. Thought he had decent pace when he first arrived (not rapid, but competent pace).
