Pour yourself a stiff drink, take a deep breath, and watch Raul:
my exact response ...
ha. ha. ha.
What a strange player he was. I never knew if he was decent or complete rubbish.
I thought he'd died or something.
Glad it's only this.
ooh man, that's gonna be in my head for the rest of the afternoon now.

Best post all week
May be because I've seen too much Eurovision, I'm not all phased by this
I always thought he was an effete shithouse when he played for us, glad he’s found happiness
Haha haha He must’ve been awesome to have around the club.
Any context to this?
Sometimes it feels like the Hodgson reign was just a bad dream
From the BBC archives:
The Portuguese is a combative player and is seen as a natural replacement for Javier Mascherano, who is poised to complete a move to Barcelona.
"Liverpool are a historic club and I am happy for the move. Roy Hodgson was key because he worked so hard to get me," Meireles told the Liverpool website.
"It has been a long time coming but finally I have achieved my dream of playing in England."
Meireles has joined Milan Jovanovic, Joe Cole, Christian Poulsen, Jonjo Shelvey and Danny Wilson in moving to Anfield this summer.
It's 'Lip Sync Portugal' (lip sync is huge with the yoof of today I believe so I imagine we'll get these shows soon enough), & he's covering this song:
I'd be interested to see that compared to the worst windows other clubs have had, it must be right up there.
Cheers BTW, that brought a huge smile to my face this morning!
Not the worst thing I've seen, he did alright there
The raisin in the sausage, Konchesky, wasn't even mentioned….
For some reason I recall him being a late addition that window, maybe that's why or maybe they couldn't be arsed with that surname
Always thought he was a bit light in the loafers.
Fair play to him.
