nice pass from Kent to Milner on the top of the box ... gets past his defender, good shot, good save by keeper but Brewster reads it best and taps it in ... 3-0
yup, fair analysis ... I think he's pressing a bit too much - you can tell he wants to impress.

1st half ratings:
Ming - 7 - two standard saves, no issues.
Clyne 7 - +1 for goal, otherwise average.
Phillips - 7 - did he do anything wrong? Looks calm, assured & ok.
Gomez - 6.5 - great burst forward but really poor error that should have been punished.
Larouci - 8 - looks very impressive but final ball needs work.
Lallana - 7 - slow with the ball but control and smart passing.
Milner - 7.5 - everywhere.
Ox - 7 - will take some time to get sharp but some nice bursts and good passes.
Kent - 6.5 - saw the ball a lot, but a bit wasteful. Needs to make most of his chance, or he'll end up in the Championship this year.
Wilson - 7 - some really good touches and good assists.
Brewster - 9 - MotH. good vision to set up Clyne's opener, and strikers' instinct on his double ... Impressive start to his campaign.

great goal from Jones ... Origi gets the ball, holds off of the defender and finds Woodburn who has about 5 hours to find Jones on the back post, who makes no mistake. 4-0

Have to say - Lewis looks extremely confident and calm on the ball. Makes smart decisions ... Not been tested defensively much, so hard to tell how well he's coming along defensively.
