It was cleverly done, especially when you see him holding up a pair of balls right behind. You're about to feel disgusted by it all, and then go deeper into a background and see the word "Hodgson". The paedophilia outrage suddenly disappears completely from your mind, and is replaced by the true darkness you'd hoped to never experience again.
I think it would have looked much better if they actually wore the correct uniforms of the eras they played in (like the managers at the entrance wear clothes of their times) – then them being in the same locker room together and interacting would have been a nice contrast between the real and the make-believe. However, for reasons doubtlessly having to do with corporate sponsorship, the artist was forced to use the current Standard Chartered home kit for all the players and that just made the whole thing look bizarre.
I would assume that Klopp & Hendo are in it in their role as current captain and manager.. nice concept but not well overly well executed. Would have been nice if they were wearing the kits of their time? Interesting to see the LFC Ladies shirt hanging up.
