Assaidi to Stoke for 7 million

His was an odd transfer, we seemingly stole in and signed him out of nowhere. Then last season he is farmed out on loan and has a decent season at Stoke while Aspas and Alberto warm our bench and bemoan our lack of options.

Good to see we've made a profit on him though.

I don't follow dutch football anywhere near as closely as I'd like, but Heerenveen had a pretty good attack that year with Narsingh and Djuricic alongside Assaidi didn't they?

I know Djuricic is in Portugal now, but how is Narsingh getting on in Holland?

I hardly ever see PSV games as it is all Ajax/Feyenoord/ADO where I am but he is getting the odd game for the national side so he must be doing something right. He is probably one of PSV's oldest players at 23! Hereenveen were good yeah. Despite Ajax winning the last 4 Eredivisies they are not really outspending anyone so there are a few sides doing alright.
