We can draw Real, Dortmund, Lyon and probably Atletico or Shaktar Donetz.
Lyon and Shaktar probably being the pick of that small bunch.

If history has ever thought us anything, we are not the sort of team that gets the easy route to anything we won. This one is no different. I won't be surprised if we ended up with Dortmund, Atletico or Real. I would prefer to not be drawn against Shakhtar. We should also not be too worried about Atletico and Dortmund, they both have not been at their best. Anyone of those teams would have asked their players and staff to be in whatever they worshiped and pray to that god for them to not drawn against us, that I can assure you.

As for my preference - Real Madrid. I would like us to draw against them and send them out with tails between their fucking legs. Time for another 4-0 thrashing at Anfield!

It looks good on paper. But they've been out for around 6-7 months by then. I think it's gonna take some time for them to get their sharpness back. Just like it did for Ox and Gomez.

Even then surely Barca and Real not to mention Juve would look more likely with City’s poor form of late.

And generally speaking an injury like that takes another 6 months to get up to speed.

I think they changed the rules now, so players who feature in the group stages are nt ciup tied for the knockout stages. They changed it just after Coutinho left. so Barcelona could not beneift
