Bring on yer Internazionale! It’s on Prime in the UK which I absolutely hate.

We go again. I’d drop Mo from the squad. He’s disrespected the club and there should be no coming back from that. Others need the same treatment in you underperform and you are dropped.

No Gakpo and no Konate. Bradley gets another game because he played 60 yesterday and is suspended on Saturday. Gakpo was shite so gets bombed. Chiesa won’t get any minutes until we are under a new manager.

Salah gives no shits about the club. He gives a shit that he's not getting minutes ahead of AFCON.

Not sure I agree with that. He's done a lot of work for the club historically and if anything not playing ensures he doesn't get a knock and is fresh. I'm more of the opinion his primary driver is he, rightly to a large extent, thinks he's the best performer for the club for several years and it is not a problem of his that has suddenly pushed the club over the edge.

Szobo doesn't offer much out on the right. Cheesy is the answer, Szobo then replaces Macca in your lineup

Can Szobo do the dirty work in front or alongside Macca? I don't see him as that player. Gravy/Macca/Jones (and Badger if he ever comes back to life) pick 2 from 3. I agree Chiesa deserves a start somewhere.

I'm always going to side with Mo over slot.

We would not be where we are now in terms of success over the years if it wasn't for Mo. He deserves respect. That though does not mean he cannot be open to criticism either

Gakpo always starts and he has been predictable and garbage on that left when we have two or three other players that can play that position quite easily..

Nah, he plays in AFCON regardless of whether he is playing for us not. I don’t really how you can accuse him of that. It’s not related to money either before that’s thrown in. Probably is thinking more about himself at the expense of the current situation but you can’t be at LFC for 10yrs and not care about us. It’s silly season now.

I have not been a fan of Slot for months. I also adore Mo Salah for his contributions to our club. Seeing a player from a non-traditional football powerhouse nation work his way to elite status through sheer talent, desire, and mentality means a lot to me.

Having said that, there is no way Salah should be allowed to start this game after his outburst. The cause of his disgruntlement may be valid. But we can't have a player publicly attack a manager and then proceed business as usual.

There is a message being sent to all promising young managers through our actions.
 
The only tiny, and I really do mean minuscule, point Salah has is that this has been anything but a phased transition out of the side. He wasn’t being subbed when he was out of form, and sitting on Slot’s bench must feel like standing next to the exit door. If you take Salah’s comments at face value, the communication between them hasn’t exactly sounded great either.

But it reminds me of when Rooney complained about having to eat pasta at 9.30 in the morning because of a 12.30 kick-off, and some council lass tore into him on Twitter, saying that for three hundred and fifty grand a week she’d happily stuff it up her asshole any time day or night. Mo is living in the fucking clouds if he thinks he's any right for anybody to take him seriously.
