Yup amazing brutal innings that, the bugger had to come off against us! I do think that was a win the toss win the game sort of pitch due to the amount of dew out there. Did you see the India game yesterday? the pitch was a disgrace really - especially as it is early in the tournament and it will be reused!
I guess whoever has the best spinners will have the best chance of slowing down these hitters ...
This 17 year old Afghani bowler (Khan) looks bloody talented.
Bangladesh did the mother of all chokes today. 3 balls 2 runs to win and they lost.
What were they thinking!! trying to hit the ball out the park when they just needed a couple of singles - the red mist decended. There have been some cracking matches in this tournament so far.

C word in full effect .... so so expected.
Are we talking about the WI match yesterday? I was thinking the same when Brathwaite was playing and missing and ducking under bouncers in the penultimate over!
Always good to see the Aussies go out. It was a very exciting run chase by the Indians, made more difficult when Yuvraj sprained his ankle but insisted on staying at the crease!

Do you agree with the article mate. I havent watched SA cricket for a long time, so curious to know your thoughts.
Basically, we always find ways to fuck it up ... I guess 1-2 more chances for AB, Faf, Amla etc before the team moves over to QdK, Rababa, Rilee etc
- I never got why they didn't let AB open or bat 3rd ... We have Miller as the explosive batsment @ 6 ...
- Agree on discipline - very frustrating and it showed against England, where we really should have won.
- Never got why Wiese was playing - I think he's average (and that's being VERY VERY kind)
- Don't think Steyn should have been selected - he needs to be protected and it was obvious he hadn't recovered fully over the summer.
Cheers mate. SA were my second team in 1992 world cup. Always had a soft spot for them.
Test cricket is dying.. 20 - 20 is the future, unless something happens to make Test Cricket more attractive to the players and the ground owners, I can see it dying off completely..
I can only imagine 20 20 cricket will expand, with a 2nd innings being added to the game...
So much more money to be made from 20 20 cricket.. why try to make money from a game over 5 days when you can have 2 to 4 games a day to make money from...
