Same old problems, no willingness to go for it in midfield, poor defending from both centre halves, a redundant and pointless defensive midfielder at home and a striker who doesn't do enough or score enough. Same problems we've talked about all season, which according to some, still aren't issues.

Terrible reluctance (inability?) from Klopp to change things when it's needed and to do it early when the game is already panning out clearly. I don't blame that on today's bench, because it's been a recurring theme throughout his tenure, reactionary decision making instead of taking the initiative first.

This aswell, it's crucially important and I'd say it's a primary one going into the transfer window. We need leaders and players who can not only add class, but also get hold of game and provide either a drive or composure when it's needed. We have neither with this team.

Maybe he should invent a novel way of playing, like say, 3 at the back, and educate the country on the merits of it while on a run of games against piss poor opposition, before abandoning it and ending the season on the wrong end of a 6-1 thrashing at Stoke.

I'm not sure what you'd do to change a game when the opponents resolutely stick 11 between the ball and the goal at all times, except buy more players like Coutinho, perhaps.

Maybe he's too calm? I just feel sometimes he needs to play with a bit more urgency defensively - on their first goal, he should have sprinting back to try and cut out Cabaye's cross (even if he had missed).

What we lack are players who are competent and make fewer mistakes at the back and take the chances when they come.

Can missed the best chance of the match and that would have made it two nil but with Lovren having another of those days we still probably have drawn.
