He had an infection requiring admittance for IV antibiotics first. As a matter of protocol they tested for COVID-19 and he was found to be positive.

He is asymptomatic with regard to COVID-19 but still being treated for the other, unnamed bacterial infection.

It's pretty clear from the article that the King went into hozzie for something other than coronavirus and was found to have the virus after he was admitted.

I thought he was positive for covid but has been released for the initial reason he visited the hospital. I’m a little concerned the covid issue is yet to flare up.

So far it hasn't been doing that. There have been some reports of it happening in China but virologists in this country suspect faulty testing may account for those. Besides, a fair number of people who test positive never display symptoms anyway. All they need to do is self-isolate for the usual 14 days.
