Post Match EFL wk11 Man City (A) 3-0 Nov 9th

Gutless cowards couldn't be bothered to turn up against our biggest rivals over the last 10 years.

Our gutless coward of a manager again to blame, doesn't even look like he gives a shit. Sack his arse.

Terrible first half performance. We were flat and out thought tactically.

Better in the second half but City were still better than us

We were absolutely pathetic. Slot was tactically outclassed. That City team are nowhere near the level of past City teams and they dominated in second gear.

That said, the officials ruined that as a spectacle and a contest. We might have made something of it in the second half had we gone in at 1-1. Instead it was 2-0 and the game was over. Any improvement in the second half was irrelevant and moot. The game was done.

Anyone can lose away at City. And heavily too. The performance and the tactics were a worry, though. Slot has got until the New Year for me. If we haven't improved significantly by January, then he has to go.

I don't know what improvements we could expect until January.

Yeah, I'm not saying I expect the improvements. I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt as we won the league last year.

If we hadn't, I would have gotten rid by now.

We have a run of easier fixtures post international break. If we don’t go on a winning run we’re fucked.

I suspect we'll probably by some lube over the international break to make the fucking a little bit easier on us

"unlucky with the deflections"
"we didn't concede chance after chance after chance after chance after chance"
"I see no valid reason to change anything"
"Chiesa needs to stop boning my wife if he wants to play more"

Excuse excuse excuse and no accountability taken, shut the fuck up you bald headed fraud.

Simply didn’t fight enough to take anything from that. We had a days extra rest too.

For their first goal no one pressures the crosser, then Ibu misses the header which is something he’ll rehearse 40 times a training session. Poor.

For their second goal we didn’t put any pressure on the shooter and Virgil was a bit lazy in his blocking.

You only need to be 1% off it at this level to lose, and thats what we did.

We need to take stock in the break and work out what this team is trying to be. Our CBs will get more fatigued, both mentally and physically as they are going to have to start every game time Jan. if we don’t sign a CB in Jan i think we’re going to get one of the injured.

Not much else to say.

Thats all fair enough when it comes to the teams defensive abilities and highlighting the defensive players....But there is more to say about the team as a whole and offensively in particular.

We're a bit of a bin fire

Awful result for the confidence we got from the two previous games.

I think most wanted the same team to start, we just looked knackered from the first minute.

Hopefully the next run of games allows us to go a run.

Looks more like a transition season with a run at the CL now.

At the start of the week 2 wins and a loss away to City would have been seen as progress but this performance stings.

• Fewest shots on target in a Premier League match since 4 February 2024 (1)
• Lowest duel success rate in any match this season (39%)

Why didn't Man C look knackered?
