In my defence I never mean to, the mods throw me under a bus every week 😡
 
If Arne is still, by some miraculous divine’s, in charge for this then it’s gonna be 4 straight batterings.

I’m not interested in starting XIs, results or performances anymore, only the countdown until this bald fraud packs his bags and fucks off.

Hermansen in for Areola because it's time he gained some confidence. Fullkrug on for Wilson after the 50th minute, or his hat trick, whichever comes first. Golambekis and Kante to get their PL home debuts after the half time show.

Interestingly I checked the BBC 'should we sack Slot' poll. And unsurprisingly this forum is not representative of our general support.

I voted Sack simply because I think he's lost the squad and unlike last season he reacts with desperation or not at all.

BBC isn't solely our fans. Rival fans are reveling in our pain and will vote keep.
 
There isn't a point in suggesting a team sheet as Slot will prioritize his ______ (whatever it is) and play players who should be benched.
 
For me this would be a game to pack the midfield, and try to demonstrate that we can keep a clean sheet. But do this through control. Sacrifice a single isolated forward, to have Mo & Isak playing narrower. Give Dom a free role at AM, and he can press and play almost like a false 9 if we need. Lock down the middle. Play Ramsay because he's actually a RB. Play Gomez because Slot kept him as a senior CB.

Incredibly uninspiring - but that is where we are.

Not sure what other options there are with Tekkers out - in this attempted 442 diamond. I wouldn't have Cody on, as Isak prefers to drift left. Chiesa starting is just a pipe dream.

Can't believe we are shipping goal after goal and not seeing Endo who became very reliable at helping us lock down games early last season. Why not lock down a game from the start, and slowly work out way into it.
 
Who merits a place in the side at the moment? Szobo, Chiesa and Ekitike, and tekkers is injured. No-one else is playing well on anything near a consistent level. If Slot is still in post by the weekend he'll pick pretty much the same team, with Isak in for Hugo and that's it. It's not going to make a difference anyway because we still won't be able to do the basics.

I am more than happy to be part of team FOM. However no single attacker is in form - so there isn't really any argument for a single one of them. The minor positive Mo can bring is that he still gets double marked and that creates gaps - but the other forwards are all fucking up every half chance and big chance.
 
No obvious solutions, and injuries are limiting us, but I'd look to run as many changes as possible. Move Salah closer to goal, more width and work rate on the flanks, Endo booting people in the middle of the park, and Konate sent to the shadow realm.

I think Szob in for Ngumoha would work better. And maybe an actual RB

The match threads depress me, it's like writing your Christmas list for Santa, knowing your Mum and Dad have loads of money to pick and choose whatever lavish gift they want to give you, but they're a pair of cunts and you know they'll just buy you the same shit toy from last year, and the year before, and the year before..

Hopefully Macca boots it past Alisson from the kick off and then starts a fight with Gakpo and Salah and the three of them get banned for 10 games, or something.
