Acc to Marca Eriksen have turned down Spurs' latest and final contract offer and the club has now informed Real of his price tag in January, somewhere in the £20-25M region.

He has turned down United's approaches too and it is highly likely he's angling for that Madrid-move, however do you think Klopp should give him a hug and an offer he can't refuse? Wouldn't it be an exceptional signing at the rumoured price?

That's an insanely low price for him even if he's been trash this season and running down his contract.

Isn't the entire point of him wanting to leave so that he could play in a different country and league?
It is not something I've read/heard him state but it might be true. He does have the desire to try himself with the very best at the very top, boxes we seem to be ticking off more and more these days..

It's a pipe dream of mine and I kinda know it won't pan out, I was just curious to hear you out whether you might think this could be an idea/opening for us.

.........Fabinho.............Wijnaldum..............

Salah...................Firmino..........................Mane

Just saying like...

Linked to Real and Bayern. It will most likely be one of those clubs, so think it will be pointless for us to be after him.

You want to buy Fernandinho as well?

It'd look a bit stupid seeing we just paid almost 100m for Ox and Naby

He's a great player Kris - and you know I love him (even if he wasn't at Coutinho's level!) but I think it's not the most pressing issue for our team to fix in the coming off season ...

As always I'm with my Scando brother here. I'd take Eriksen today if I could.
Yeah we've got Ox and Keita but they're not performing atm. Also Eriksen is arguably a better attacking midfielder than Henderson and Wijnaldum as well.

I hope he does his acl on international duty. Or his fucking plane crashes
Ah that's not sound mate, even though I know it's only banter on a forum. He's only a footballer and a pretty bland personality at that. He's not a loud mouthed cunt like some we could name at midtable clubs (or even Spurs themselves).

OK, let's take that statement as a starting point: "I know it's only banter on a forum".

So, does this mean, when using the context supplied later in your post, that although Eriksen isn't a "loud-mouthed cunt like some we could name", that it would therefore be OK to hope that a player you don't like damages his ACL or dies in a plane crash?

I'd like some clarity before wishing injury and/or death on any other footballers, and I'm sure Woland would appreciate the guidance too.

Ah no haha ! The third sentence was a qualifier for the second sentence (but you knew that).

I would not be surprised if united go all out for him and offer him 300k a week.

25 mil is still a lot of money for a player who you can get on free in 6 months. spurs should have sold him for that amount in the summer instead of the 50 million plus they were asking.

Sven's off the hook then.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda...fuck em.
I hope no one buys him in January. I'd love to see Spurs go back to midtable obscurity.

If Keita comes good as the 2nd midfielder. Does Erikson do the hard work to replace what Gini would do as the most attacking of the three?

So basically, if he wants to come and help us win the league as a part of the squad I'd be very happy to sign him. However, I don't think he'd be in the best 11 when everyone is fit. By that I mean, in the 10 biggest games of the year, the one where we tend to play Fab/Gini/Hendo if fit, he wouldn't make us better.
