I'm still trying to get used to Fa Cup action on a Friday night. United go to Cambridge and surely no upset is on the cards there.

@Pesam, How are Jason Bournemouth fixed for the weekend? 2/1 away to Villa. Could be a scalp there.

I might do a nice bet on United (*spits*), Chelsea (*spits again*) and Us. Throw in Barca and Madrid too.

I think from the season after next you will have premiership football on a Friday night too.

I've just seen the United line up and can't see anyway Cambridge can surprise them. From early days I told my United mates that Januzaj was no where near as good as they thought but unfortunately I believe James Wilson is better than they think and he can become a top player.........I've backed him at 6/5 to score anytime.

Paradoxically I think it could be Villa who surprise Bournemouth Dave. I think Eddie Howe is prioritising promotion this season and might make several changes tomorrow. I mentioned before that Bournmouth's weakness is in defence and if Benteke, Agbonlahor and Weimann start I think they'll score a few, especially if Bournemouth do make changes. The 5 most important players to Bournemouth are Arter, Ritchie, Wilson, Pugh and Surman...if all 5 play I'll leave the game alone, if 3 or fewer play I'll be backing Villa (as long as their team is close to what I expect).

I don't see a lot of possible surprises in the FA cup this week although I'll be keeping an eye on the team news in the Saints v Palace because I have a feeling Koeman might take this opportunity to rest a few which could make Palace value at 5/1

I'm in Cambridge at the moment. A truly bizarre result. No doubt there wiil now be more articles about how Richard Money won us the European Cup. Quite amusing all the same.

That tackle on Janjizz by the Cambridge captain was epic.
Left the whinging little shit rolling around crying for the whistle.
That's what the Fa cup should be about.

They will earn more from the replay than they would in one season. Man U helping grass roots football should be commended...

I don't get anything about that club. They shout 'Moose' all the time. No idea what's that's about. Their ground is just across from Tesco, and their floodlights haven't worked for fecking ages (the stadium, not the supermarket). And they've got a mass of weirdos carrying 'pukka pies' into the ground. Shouldn't really be allowed a football. But it's against the mancs. Rejoice!

This may as well be the weekends games thread.

Came in a few minutes ago & went to switch the early kick off on.

Blackburn Swansea.

Not on Amy of the channels, so checked my trusty app.

It's only on one channel. ONE! BBC two Wales. I've got it, obviously, but I find it mad it's not on anywhere else.

There's only about 10000 people there looking at the empty stands too, sad, they should give the tickets away to school kids if the sales are so low, make fans for the future for free.

The match isn't bad, 1 all, someone's been sent off for Swansea but dunno who cos missed the first half.

The response in this thread suggests there is a good reason its only on BBC two Wales!

3-1 Blackburn, sealed it at the death with a lucky goal.

Chelsea have made 9 changes for their game today, resting loads for our 2nd leg game. Will be interesting to see the team BR picks.

The FA cup is so fucking shit now. The only teams who give a toss about it are the minnows who can hope for a pay day at one of the big clubs. The top 4 tend to get through by default cos the gap between their reserves and everyone else's is even bigger than the gap between their respective first teams.

Boro just scored a sadly offside goal after some brilliant interplay, really opened city up.

Would like city to get knocked out of this so they can concentrate on trying to take the top spot from Chelsea.

City with all the possession but haven't concocted a real chance yet, just shooting from range.

Hard to see boro holding out for long though.

Looks like the game to watch is Palace - Southampton. 3-2 to Palace at half time - Chamakh with a brace and Sanogo with the other for Palace. Pelle and a Dann own goal for Soton.
