Game against the Scum

As others have said correctly; Mourinho will flood the midfield and defence, and have them sit togethor with no further than 5 metres gap between the two lines.

They'll pull their wide midfielders in, and not ask Valencia and Blind to overlap for at least the first 45. All entirely predictable.

That's a compliment. Mourinho will have spent the last week and a bit and the next 6 odd days planning for how not to lose. If he can stop us from scoring, that'd be a tremendous result for him. What a fucking farce.

This is Manchester United - the world's biggest football club, with the world's most self-lauded manager. And they'd kill for a fucking DRAW.

Klopp meanwhile, you just fucking know will be certain we'll win. Nothing less than pummelling these cunts will satisfy him. That's the fucking attitude. We're fucking Liverpool and our manager will be fuming if we don't dick Man United. Damn fucking straight.

God only knows if we do find a way to break them down, but going into a match knowing our intent is completely to win gives you such confidence.

I'd fucking love if it we absolutely dicked them.

Agree with Ryan but the reality right now is that we seem to have two of our in form midfielders out. If Gini dont play we will struggle i reckon.

Well said; Dreamy must have put a shot of the hard stuff in your night time cocoa 😉

With wijnaldum and possibly lallana out i can see us going with a midfield 3 of hendo, can and firmino, with studge, coutinho and mane up front. Its a big blow but we can still dick these cunts.

A Mourinho team coming to Anfield? Expect plenty of time wasting and "gamesmanship" in this one. Urgh. We'll be lucky to see 70mins of actual football.

Careful now. The last time we adopted such an attitude Stevie slipped and we got suckered punch by a Mourinho team.

They have arguably the best goal keeper in the world and one of the most enigmatic strikers in modern football, who has the habit of producing wonder goals. I don't know their stats but I guess they have a better goal to shot ratio than us.
The question is how do we do to them as AM did to Chelsea?

How can we do to them as AM medrid did to Chelsea?

"enigmatic" does make it hard to set up your team to play against. Do you go zonal or man-to-man?

Cut off the supply or simply encourage your defence to play inscrutably?

We should all just expect a 1-0 loss with Mourinho scoring the goal from the bench, and just be pleasantly surprised when we beat them..

Lads, believe. We gonna dick those Scummers even if they park the bus. With the game only on Monday night, we'll be fresh and up for it. We need no motivation for those bastards.

Can licking his lips for a return. Even with our injuries, I'm pretty confident.

To be fair, even under Fergie, United were always defensive/cautious playing at Anfield and that's when they were great and we were pretty average/shit. He always showed Liverpool the upmost respect in that regard and regularly commented on the atmosphere factor as did the likes of Giggs and Rat Face Neville...Arsenal or Chelsea away wasn't their toughest/most daunting fixture of the season, it was always Liverpool away.

The referee Anthony Taylor is from Greater Manchester and lives 6 miles from Old Trafford, Wtf!!!

Who made that decision?

That's Like Fifa appointing an English Referee for a international game involving England..

Well done FA.. You do realise if Liverpool lose due to a controversial decision, your going to make Mr Taylors position very uncomfortable moving forward..

If Lallana is close to fit, I think he'll play him. Fuck it. Risk it for the biscuit n all that.

Our next game is fucking West Brom at home so it's not like we need to mitigate risks. Lallana's in the form of his life, and we play better with him right now. If he's not on crutches, I'd play him.

Wijnaldum looks proper fucked for a few weeks unfortunately.

Its the only way the FA can 100% guarantee he is not a Utd fan

It's all over the media now. If anything he will be under severe pressure from his bosses not to fuck up, but if he does fuck up to make sure it is in our favour. It's not going to be a pleasant evening for Taylor, but fuck him, I'm quite pleased about the way this will play out.

We simply have to score and take the lead, it's the only way for the universe to bring about the inevitable event where Klopp winds that cunt up and leaves him in an apoplectic rage.

I think having a little more height and strength for defending set-pieces will be no bad thing. Even though I've been impressed with Gini thus far, I'd have considered putting Can in for him in this game anyway.

Agreed, and losing one of Lallana/Gini shouldnt be that much of a problem. Losing both would have been critical for our pressing game.

This morning on Sky Sports News, they spent the first 10 minutes of a report showing all kinds of goals scored by Utd against us down the years, even some at Old Trafford. Then, they moved onto the LFC point of view for a couple of minutes, and showed one poxy goal by Agger 3 years ago. Can see what way they're leaning.

That's by the by, if it's a poll. ive never seen Liverpool lose any sort of vote ran by sky sports .

Edit: they've got the greatest goals on the site and a riise and Gerrard goal are comfortably ahead.

No club can have a bigger sky viewership than ours ,which is both surprising and disturbing

Liverpool and United ratings are about the same, United maybe a bit higher.
