Harry Redknapp quits

Didn't he always say his plan was to buy into Bournemouth, probably end up on TV though

We definitely haven't seen the last of him

Probably resigning because he wasn't allowed to spend a bean during the window and QPR are screwed. Still can't believe he got away with being a saviour at Pompey despite the mess he left them in

He'd got a ridiculous amount of 'assistants' around him there, including Joe Jordan, Glen Hoddle, Les Ferdinand, Kevin Bond, the list goes on. He was barely ever on the training ground anyway so presumably they'll just carry on without him.

And weirdly they've put Les 'Defensive midfielders, what's that all abaht?' Ferdinand in temporary charge ahead of all the others.

Definitely then

He's had this 'knee complaint' excuse ready for a little while. He would have quit if QPR hadn't been promoted using it as an excuse, to divert attention from the fact he's assembled a squad the size of the terracotta army and spunked a ridiculous amount of money in the process. Football has long since left H. Redknapp's approach behind.

Hugely frustrating for Sky, who didn't want anything to interrupt their day of crowing about adding the Open to their growing portfolio of formerly free to air sporting events that they will now charge their grateful customers a fortune to continue watching.

He won them the FA cup.

No he didn't. That's like saying David O'Leary's responsible for Leeds's current position.

Well signing players who were demanding huge wages at the time and were impossible to get rid of after didn't help.
He wasn't the singular figure but he must take some responsibility.

So they're going from a manager who accused his own players of being lazy, overweight, over-paid brats... to one who is known to slag off his own players in public and wash his hands of their bad results. It's a masterstroke!

Surprises me a bit that it apparently won't be Hoddle (unless the Sherwood rumour's a smokescreen). When Hoddle was appointed to the coaching staff I thought Fernandes was lining him up to take over.

Hahaha, I'd forgotten about his defensive midfielders soliloquay.

The fucking imbecile.
