well as BuLi follower, I would say stay away from him, he is too young and he is mature for his age but he also commits mistakes and he will be under pressure since we dont have time for players to get trained while playing with us
 
Timo Horn looks very good. Havent seen enough of Karius tbh.
Horn has had a very impressive season so far.
 
We seem to have spent so many years using the 'scattergun of shit up a wall' technique to signing players that I struggle to get excited about any links we have. Hundreds of players in and out, rarely do any of them prove to be worth the effort. And the ones that are worth getting excited about come for a bit and then fuck off somewhere better asap. Except of course the links to really top, proven players, where the link allows you to get excited for precisely 30 seconds before the cold reality that that player will never come, or we will never pay the money for him kicks back in.
 
It isn't (perversely) about how good the keeper is though, or at least it isn't solely about signing the best goalkeeper we can. When we signed Ming you wouldn't have had many claiming Michel Vorm was a better goalkeeper but there's no doubt in my mind he would have been a better signing for us. Not many goalkeepers are good with the ball at their feet, or commanding their penalty area, or coping with a high defensive line (and by extension being quick off theirs).

I've not seen Horn or Karius or, realistically, any other young upcoming Bundesliga keeper, but, if Karius is the better keeper but Horn possesses the qualities I've listed above (and is good) then I'd rather sign Horn.

That youtube video doesn't necessarily showcase his ability with the ball though.
