Gerrard against the Mancs in about 03 - Coz lower centenary, same distance out as him
Luis Garcia against Juve - Coz in Main stand, level with pen spot, about 5 rows back, total unexpected.
Zidane in the European Cup final in 02 - Just because
Molby v Manure - In Kop. Didn't see it very well but everyone goes on about it
Barnes v QPR - Both of them, kemlyn road, centre line, awesome stuffs
Gerrard v Olympiakos - Back row of kop, never heard the place so loud, even when it was standing.
Dalglish, Stamford Bridge - 86. Won the league with it.

Gerrard, 06 Cup Final. Take your pick because for different reasons, both were brilliantly taken goals.

Forgot about Cardiff. Owen's winner in 01 was boss too. But Gerrard's was just mental. Gerrard scored another cracker against the Mancs in 02 or 03 at Cardiff but I think it got deflected.

i was there for that one. Carling cup final with gerrard loopy one (ignores deflection)

beasty

vs Chelsea European Cup semi final 05, front row of the Kop (well row 5 due to the sponsor boards) by the centenary corner flag. It did cross the line.

Best LFC goal was Garcia vs Juve in 2005. I was sat right behind the shot and thought it was in row Z as soon as it left his foot but then it dipped and the rest is a blur.

I say Henry score a cracker for Barca against Celtic in Parkhead in 2008. Messi also scored to good goals that day too.

For sheer WOW factor mine would be Alonso Vs Newcastle.

I know Harper stumbled but it was an outrageous shot and it was the audacity to do it that put Harper on his ass if you know what i mean?
The goal didnt go in because Harper slipped on his arse, Harper slipped on his ass BECAUSE the goal was going in.

I once saw one of Keegan's - a twisting header MILES up in the air (the guy could leap like a salmon) - which was in the MOTD montage for a long time afterwards.

Plenty of stevie ones. He did a nice one on new years day vs southampton once. And Torres vs Sunderland in the first couple of minutes.

Torres vs Arsenal in the CL Quarter Final 2007. Amazing turn and finish, I was in the Kop. Amazing!

Stevie V Boro

+1

Torres v Chelsea last year
Fowler free kick v Utd 95
Gerrard v Charlton about 3 mins to go early 2000's

Jan Molby, goal of the season contender 1994/5, Vs Crystal Palace.

Was on the Kop. Would have hit me in the face if the net hadn't been there.

Fowler v Villa. About '96, '97. It was 3-0 after 10 minutes. Main stand, he nutmegged Staunton then blasted a 35 yd arrower which I was sat right behind.
The last 80 minutes of the game was tedious beyond though.

A lot of the good ones have been mentioned, one that hasn't been mentioned is Aggers 30 yard banger against West Ham, first home game of the season, I was sat in the Kop, about 3 rows back, and he just pinged it and it flew in.

Smicer vs Milan. For the sheer importance of the equaliser and improbability of those six crazy minutes. Very proud to have been in that stadium that night.

It's not one goal, but three.

In three minutes. From God himself, against Arsenal.

The rest of the game was a bit shit like, we just strolled it, but those goals in such rapid succession were immense. Five minutes of the game gone & it was over.

Where's the Youtubia love anyways?

robbie fowler 3 minute hat-trick

Peter Thompson's goal against Chelsea in our 2-0 FA Cup semi-final win at Villa Park in 1965. It was a victory to savour because Chelsea were the darlings of the media, while we were considered a rather primitive Northern side not long promoted from Division 2.

I was with the Liverpool fans behind the goal, not far from the camera position.

We went on to beat Leeds 2-1 in extra time at Wembley and win the FA Cup for the first time in the club's history. Surprising that we took so long about it, considering we had so many League titles.

Teams:

Chelsea: Bobby Murray, George Graham, Barry Bridges, Terry Venables, Bert Tambling, John Hollins, John Mortimore, Ron "Chopper" Harris, Marvin Hinton, Eddie McCreadie, Peter Bonetti.

Liverpool: Peter Thompson, Tommy Smith, Ian St. John, Roger Hunt, Ian Callaghan, Gordon Milne, Ron Yeats, Willie Stevenson, Gerry Byrne, Chris Lawler, Tommy Lawrence.

(I would have embedded the video but I don't have the skills) :-[

Ronnie Whelan, winning goal in the 1983 Milk Cup Final vs. manure.
I was 16, my first time at Wembley and we came back from 1-0 down to win the game 2-1.

I may well have seen better goals but that's the one that sticks in the memory.

When Walters scored v Auxerre.
When Bellamy scored in Nou Camp.
When Yossi scored in Bernabeu
When no one scored in Nou Camp
When Chesterfield scored 4 at Anfield
When we beat Forest *spit* 5 nil in 88.

The Walters goal is my favourite!

Not sure how you got a ticket to that one Spion... it was packed to the rafters that night 😉
