Now that we've finally been put out of our misery, we can turn our attentions elsewhere in the football world...

I've just checked the results from La Liga - wow!

Barca draw away to Elche nil nil, A.Madrid draw at home to Malaga and Real lose away to Celta.

That's mental.

It's all going to come down to the last weekend with Barca playing A.Madrid at home.

A.Madrid have had the measure of Barca this season so will definitely fancy themselves (even away from home) but that's a draw following a defeat now. Sound familiar? Will the underdog lose out again?

There's 3 points in it, isn't there? So, all Atletico have to do is go and play for a draw...

Yup, which will definitely suit A.Madrid as it plays to their strengths and Barca - who look toothless at the moment - will have to chase the win.

I'm still a little surprised Real are out of it - I really thought they'd kick on and win the title this year after Barca began to flounder.

I only caught the last few minutes of the Atletico match today, I thought it was the final match of the league today. They had a few chances towards the end & could have won it. I must try and catch the last match, should be good.

Would have been better if Real had won as they could have clinched it with a win if the other 2 drew.

That said, I hate Real so glad they fucked it. Any boy, did they! Two utter howlers to gift goals by Ramos and Alonso.

Can't wait for the Last game now. Hope Athletico do it.
