Could've been Balotelli or Moreno for that last spot but the penalty just put Gerrard over the two of them. Ice cold veins.

Gerrard & Henderson had decent games too though SG noticeably tiring towards the end after two tough matches in 4 days should have been subbed off (Mario would have scored the penalty or we'd have won 1-0).
 
Gerrard? Really? He did one match saving tackle in the first half and that's about it. Taking a pen don't make a MOTM. He slowed our play down and the amount of time Moreno was in acres of space and he passed it to Sakho took the living piss

I'm not sure beyond that.

I'm in a tiny minority about Manquillo. For me he's all over the shop. A veritable curate's egg of a player - one minute he left Lallana all on his own on the right (a massive gaping hole where he should have been) then next he's moving forward very brightly, the next he's out of position at the back, the next he's winning the pen. I hope people are right and he gets better and better, but so far I change my mind about him about a hundred times a game.
