Guess it's easy to tell I'm bored. 😛

Question: who do you think we should sign? If you choose others, who (realistically)?

I think people are misreading the OP question as who WILL we sign as opposed to who we SHOULD sign.
My bad. If it's who we WILL sign, I would have voted no one too. 😳

Slightly surprised Neuhaus has a fair number votes so far. Is that still the choice for voters who misread the question?

I think Neuhaus is the best option of the bunch, at least in the short-medium term, so I voted for him. I've been impressed with Bissouma too, he could be a good like-for-like replacement for Gini.

There's nobody I'm against on that list. Neuhaus has the creative element that we're lacking when Chamberlain/Keita are out of action, so he makes the best sense to me. We have to consider that Henderson will become more of a holding midfielder as he ages, so adding the most creative midfielder makes sense.

Gravenberch looks very Pogba-esque in terms of his talent level. More of a project, but looks an exciting player.

Listening to a James Pearce podcast yesterday.

Highlights:
  • we're actively looking to add a midfielder and an attacker, but no deals imminent yet. Everything hinges on sales.
  • Of the mids, Bissouma and Renato Sanches are not targets. Tielemans also highly unlikely to be a target given his price.
  • We're more interested in Neuhaus, McGinn and Saul
  • Malen is unlikely because he wants to play regularly, and might not be interested in being the 5th choice attacker at Liverpool
  • Nobody seems interested in Origi, and Origi doesn't seem particularly interested in moving.
  • There is interest in Grujic, Wilson and Shaqiri, and it's a question of getting the right price for them.

Origi doesn't seem particularly arsed about playing either. Another free transfer coming up

Cover him in gold next to the shankly statue and let him dance as a tourist attraction to cover part of his wages

I only saw Brighton play 2 or 3 times last season so I'm hardly in a position to judge Bissouma...........but; I focussed on him in one game towards the end of the season after I saw that we had been linked with him. He was very unimpressive! He did very little of note and was directly responsible for one of the 2 goals Brighton conceded. He completely mis-kicked a clearance which directly led to the goal; and was indirectly responsible for the 2nd goal as he failed to track his man back into the box, who subsequently set up the goal.

Anyone can have a bad day but hopefully he's considerably better than his performance that day would suggest.

Oh ya, John McGinn - just added him to the poll.

I agree. Neuhaus is for me even a no brainer as there are just slight risks: he played well so far, already has a lot of experiences, is not to old and is not to expensive (you can always sell him again if he stays healthy). Low Risk, high reward transfer in the best case.

You used your eyes? You didn't even try to gauge any statistical metrics? Fuck outta here with your unscientific bullshit opinions.
