Just when you thought he's turned a corner he goes and throws another clanger. His mistake cost us two weeks ago against palace, and again another mistake which resulted in a goal. I think it's time Ming was rested.

He is what he is. A brilliant shot stopper who in his day can easily win you a match, but there's never been anything to suggest he'll ever improve beyond that. Buying him ahead of Bergovic was always an odd choice. It's been clear for a while that he isn't up it the standard of this club and where it needs to be heading. He needs shifting off the a midtable side and some real quality brought in

I thought so to re Begovic but he has regressed aswell. Was pretty awful for Stoke last season and not good for Chelsea.

The one we missed out on is Butland.

Agree on Butland - have been an admirer of his for a few years now. One or two more seasons and it'll be too late to make a move for him, but the price could be doable Jan or this summer IMO

Replace him with Bogdan for a month and see how good Bogdan is? If Bogdan is not upto the mark then go for a goalkeeper in January.

Jasper Cillessen of Ajax is a good shout. There was talk of him replacing De Gae (sp) at Man Utd during the summer. I have no idea how much he will cost though.

Last time he got benched he sorted his shit out for a bit. He defo needs benching now. It's not like Bogdan is shit either, he's looked the better keeper when he's been played.

Mignolet did indeed get his act together last time he was benched, and it worries me a bit that he's slipped back again. I don't think a new GK is our top priority, but it could rise up the list if things don't improve. Bogdan's looked decent when I've seen him, but I don't know if I'd want to be relying on him as a regular no.1.

The only way to find out is by playing him. Unlike the stream of shit we've had as backups for years, Bogdan actually looks like a competent keeper.

If he can't get a shot in the first team when the no. 1 is in terrible form, then there really isn't any point in having a no. 2. Promote him and tell him he gets to keep his place for as long as he keeps performing.

21 Seconds is what they said on the highlights and proved it. What the fuck ? - what was he thinking - there are 10 people in front of him he could aim for and he just stands there deciding - how hard is it to kick the ball out ?

21 seconds to throw
You got 21 seconds to throw
Give it to Coutinho
Or pick out Firmino
you got 21 seconds before you're gonna throw
did you get it so sakho oh no?
did you roll it to moreno oh no?
so you're shit and we all know
and you really gotta go
it take 21 seconds before you even throw

apologies.

Ming must have come up with that, while he was trying to throw...that must be the reason....

Someone just showed me a gif of him coming out of his box and heading it to their striker. I'd forgot about that. He really is utterly fucking shite. Hard to believe Bogdan is any worse.

To be fair, the likes of Neuer and Ter Stegen have committed lots of similar fuck-ups. At this point Ming's main problem is distribution. He needs to keep in simple and not let his weakness in this department bring his overall confidence down.

He is nowhere near as bad as people make out, but we could also do better. He's a little bit like Rodgers in that regard.
