I can't give it to Gakpo. He was great was he? He missed two gilt-edged chances - one from just 4m out and no-one challenging him. He also had a poor first half but a much better second, misses aside. Score them and we would have won. Fuck him.

Konate (his heading was shit - always seem to find their midfielders, but on the ground he was ace and his passing into midfield very decent today).

How people put Gakpo in their Top 3 is beyond me. Never mind top. He was one of, if not the main, reason we lost and didn't win. Missed one excellent chance and one absolute sitter from 4m out, had one tap in. If that had been Nunez he'd have been lambasted and be unmentioned in this thread.

Yeah totally agree, but strangely it was one of Cody’s better performances this season by being in the mix with like 4 chances!

Because it was his best game for a while and because others weren't at the races at all. At least Gakpo was hustling for those chances.
