I missed wolves goalless draw with Leicester.

Southampton 1-1 with Burnley. Ings again with a goal. It was a nice strike in the bottom corner from outside the box. I missed Burnley’s goal.

I too missed Burnleys goal but caught Ings finish, hell of a finish it was.

Southampton just hit the bar

Chris Wood going off injured earlier on.

Stephens hits the bar with a header. It’s a more interesting game than I thought it would be.

Ings is looking boss this season

Getting robbie keane vibes from him, feel he could deliver a similar career in the league if clubs and injuries allow

Burnley’s goal was Ings fault, a corner what hit low to the near post which he was defending and he inexplicably stepped out of the way

Kids got me up with a hangover at 6am courtesy of drinking a bottle & a half of Malbec last night. I let Bex have a lie in & came down with the kids & found BT were replaying the Wolves match at half 6. Perfect timing.

Was a poor match TBH, but no way that goal should have been ruled out, VAR took ages searching for an offence & found one eventually, it's so not within the spirit of the game or the offside rule at all.

VAR was brought in to overturn clear and obvious decisions, whether goals given that shouldn't be or given off that should be + the pens.

Yet it seemingly reviews every footage of play from every angle from every official in stockley park....

The weather has been awful, it hasn’t helped. It will be interesting to see how we get on later

Finished 2-1. Second half was crap. There isn’t any premier league games at 3 so I may watch the Leeds United implosion.

VIlla XI - Reina Guilbert Engels Konsa Hause Targett Douglas Drinkwater El Ghazi Grealish Samatta

Spurs XI - Lloris Aurier Sanchez Alderweireld Davies Dier Winks Alli Bergwijn Moura Son

Spurs hahahahahahah

Alderweireld hahahahaha

Great play from El Ghazi

___

How does Atkinson not spot that deflected off Dier's heel?

Fuck me what a shit referee.

Did you see where Atkinson was? Whilst I dont rate him, that wasnt a clear mistake, he simply couldn't see the deflection, cos he didnt have the benefit of that view that you just got in that replay. It's not fucking rocket science lad.

Villa all over them,

Aurier with 3 fouls on Grealish, no yellow so far....WTF

Shocking pass from El Ghazi there, put his team under real trouble.

Villa score, Alderweireld own goal.

Surprised Mourinho started Aurier against Grealish - one of the most undisciplined defenders in the league against the most fouled player in the league. Already 3 fouls within 10 minutes and he’s going to be sent off at this rate.

Everything going through Grealish again, what a player.

Luiz had to score, superb block from Davies tbf

Villa all over Spurs for a good few minutes there, at least three good chances before Spurs break & almost score on the counter.

Very open game, Mourinho must want to tear his hair out...

Villa look very good here, right from the back with Reina to up top with Samatta.

2 great additions

Yeh, he can't have seen too many times before.

Spurs still all over the shop and I love it.

Grealish should go for goal there, make lloris work and maybe he parries it out for a tap in.

A better pass would have done the job too, bit of pace on it & they score there.
