To be fair... It does make me think, that Rodgers is now up for his biggest challenge yet in Managment.

Not the Champions League aspect.. Not winning the title, That would be a dream. . But making sure this team can compete post Suarez long term.. and thus prove to the world how good a manager he actually is and last season wasn't just a one season wonder...

I hope the bloke exceeds all expectations..

Agreed.

And I think he'll produce. But he's got a job on his hands. Particularly if we don't strengthen the fullbacks and add a striker and hopefully a midfielder.

I think the midfield is sorted.

A Decent CB Left Back and Striker is probably all we need..

Why was it when I suggested the same in a thread two days ago, people got their knickers in a twist!

I wholeheartedly agree, how he deals with Suarez / how we perform will define Rodgers as a manager in the medium term. Huge task, however I have ever faith in him.

I like the club's approach so far, they've been dignified in handling his departure and I like the signings too; I feel like we've replaced some of what Suarez had while adding some different elements at the same time. I'd like to think Rodgers has been a key figure in that.
 
Lallana actually got a day older without even improving his value.

Modo's gonna dine out on this one.
 
I havent bothered reading the match thread, but I hope no one is worried after losing the first preseason game without 10 of our first team players?

It wouldnt surprise me though..
