I Moustache You a Question

Haven't seen a comment about his tenure for a little while. . . but that's not surprising since we haven't lost a game since United.

Anyone out there who still 100% wants rid of the manager?

He was a cunts hair away from me giving up on him, but I'm guessing most must now think it fair to see where we are at by the end of the season before passing judgement. At least the tides must be turning from the last embarrassing poll we did.

I never wanted rid at any point but I think BR still has lots of issues. As long as he is self reflexive and attempting to improve then I can take his tendency to self congratulation which does make me cringe. There clearly is a top manager in there.

As I said a few weeks ago, he's a young manager learning his trade in a very tough job. He's going to make mistakes with transfers, tactics and the media but let's not lose sight of the potential the guy has. I think he could be very, dare I say it, special.

You are on the money again. Can I have some?

I have never taken to him on a personal level, but he has done well enough to stay for now.

He may continue.

He's a positive coach - most of the time - the players clearly believe in him, he's shown more of a willingness to be pragmatic during the worst times, and he has massive credit from last season. So yes, deffo.

He's a good coach, an inexperienced but improving manager, and he has great stats since joining us.

A few weeks ago his teams were heavily criticized for leaking goals, this has improved; showing his flexibility.

All in all I'd say he was an asset to Liverpool FC.

Hopefully he can get a trophy to really take off at a club with great expectation, pressure and a growing impatience from supporters who think we should be doing better and get some credit which I think is overdue.

There would be a great deal of clubs who'd sign him in a flash.

He is a good coach. However the majority of his signings have been really bad and he has wasted a ton of money. Desperately needs a top scout/assistant to help with signings.

This summer will be interesting to see who he brings in, I think it will make or break his career at LFC.

For me, 2 key things :-

1. Importantly, he's shown an aptitude for working through problems to find solutions when things aren't going well.

2. While he's overcome problems in the short term, done of the root causes of the problem remains unaddressed. Rodgers long-term success is reliant on him tightening that defence, setting it better and identifying better option in some key positions.

I regret nothing.

Of course you don't - because that would require you to admit you were wrong, and that would open a very big can of worms.

By can of worms, I mean start of a big list.

Wrong about what, are we in 4th?
Do we have a competent striker?
We're beating beatable teams. Yeah I watched the game, and villa could have easily scored a few. Not that long ago we dropped 2 points against Leicester. But yeah I'm wrong.
He still hasnt convinced me and neither have the majority of his signings.

Half the forum pipe up when we are shit - BR OUT.
The other half now that we're on a good run - BR IN.

Singing when you're winning. That's all this is. Judge him at the end of the season.

That's just a lazy comment. Villa had a few chances they didn't take. We had equally as many if not more that we didn't take. As has been pointed out a number of times it happens in every game that is played.

You said you couldn't wait for Rodgers to fail since you didn't believe he can get the team to 4th, the momentum is getting there. Since, the majority said wait till the end of the season but you wanted rid by Christmas therefore your call on the Christmas departure is wrong.
Yes, his name is Daniel Sturridge. We don't have adequate back-ups but they're playing as expected. So you're wrong on do we have one.
Can, Lallana, Moreno, Manquillo, Sturridge, Coutinho, Lambert, Sakho are convincing. Allen (to a degree), Lovren and Mario requires convincing. So that's majority, no?

Didn't bother reading it. Tried to block you but I can't. I couldn't care less about your opinion.

If you need "put downs" to express your opinions then I really don't have time for you.
It's a bully mentality.
Again, how's it a put down???

I'm directly answering your questions. To me, you're reading into things that aren't there. Sorry, if you feel that you're being bullied.

Is that a fact? No, that's your opinion.

When did I say that I, quote "couldn't wait for Rodgers to fail"?
Yes I wanted Rodgers gone by the Christmas and despite our little run against beatable teams, it hasn't changed.
The fact that we barely got passed a League 2 team and drew against Leicester shows that we're still very fragile.
We're still out of the CL aren't we? We're still not 4th? Arsenal, Southampton and Man U are all look pretty strong.

Yeah Sturridge has been monumental this season....I was talking about his back ups. So I'm still in the green.
The feeling I'm getting is that we're pinning all our hopes on Sturridge, who hasn't played since September.
I don't see us getting passed Chelsea. I think we're in for a reality check when we play them.

Finally I was talking about this summers signings. My opinion is that Lallana (for £25m), Moreno, Manquillo, Lambert, Lovren and Balotelli aren't convincing. That's a clear majority. Sure, I've got time for Moreno and Manquillo due to their age, but still.
