Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a transfer for Bayer Leverkusen forward Son Heung-Min.
The South Korean has been in sensational form for the German outfit this season, scoring 11 goals in 24 appearances in the Bundesliga.
Heung-Min, 22, has reportedly caught the attention of Brendan Rodgers – the Reds boss may have to fork out £15 million to sign him, which may mean offloading another midfielder.
It’s believed Heung-Min has been on Liverpool’s radar even before he signed for Leverkusen from Hamburg in 2013.

Liverpool have reportedly been handed a boost to complete the £17.7million transfer for Inter Milan star Mateo Kovacic as the Croatian plans to leave the San Siro.
The Reds are keen to push through a deal for the Croat who has become unsettled in Milan due to the imminent arrival of Manchester City’s Yaya Toure, according to Fichajes.net.
The former Dinamo Zagreb man, 20, has the potential to be one of the top midfielders in Europe and the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested.
Inter boss Roberto Mancini is thought to be open to the sale as he looks to fund his own summer moves.

Newcastle United have agreed a fee to sign Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to reports.
Mitrovic, who has scored 20 goals in Belgian football this season, has been watched by Arsenal, Chelsea and Swansea in recent months.
But reports say Newcastle have stolen a march in the race and have agreed a £15million fee.
If the move goes through, it would represent a notable coup with Mitrovic rated as one of Europe’s most exciting young strikers.
Strong and excellent in the air, he has been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Mourinho is set to oversee a major overhaul of his title-winning Chelsea squad, with Atletico Madrid winger Antoine Griezmann, 24, Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette, 23, and Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, 22, among their targets. (Daily Mirror)

Liverpool AGREE transfer of Portuguese midfielder Paulinho

Jamie Sanderson for Metro.co.ukTuesday 5 May 2015 11:15 pm

Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign midfielder Paulinho from Portuguese minnows A.D Sanjoanense.

The 17-year-old, who has made 12 first-team appearances this season, has spent the last few weeks on trial at Liverpool’s Melwood training base.

And now his club Sanjoanense have confirmed on their website that a deal has been agreed for Paulinho to move to Anfield in the coming days.

Liverpool will be paying a nominal fee to do business, with the youngster now finalising contract details.

Jamie is losing his touch. That one sounds believable. He may have made up that Portuguese club mind.

Son Heung Min looks a proper player, quick, two footed, scores all sorts of goals and has a great eye for a defence splitting pass

Linked with Begovic. He's the one I thought we should have gone for when we signed Mignolet. Seems to have dropped out of favour as of late though.

Based only on the limited highlights I have seen of Stoke over the past few months, Begovic has had a shaky time with a few clangers. I don't think he is having his best season.

Liverpool have been left in pole position to sign PSV's Memphis Depay - by default, reports The Lying Rag.
It seems the Reds were in a three-way fight for the £22 million-rated Dutchman's signature with Man Utd and PSG.

However, the French team have cooled their interest after news of their approach leaked out while United are still dragging their heels as Louis van Gaal considers alternatives.
This, says The Lying Rag, makes Liverpool favourites to sign the Holland international, whose prefered destination is apparently the Premier League.

Liverpool are close to sealing their first summer signing - Portuguese teenage star Paulinho.
The 17-year-old is currently owned by third-tier Portuguese side A.D. Sanjoanense, who have announced that Paulinho has travelled to Merseyside with his father to put pen to paper on an Anfield deal, reportsThe Mirror.
He will apparently join compatriot Joao Teixeira, another youngster brought in by Liverpool, in the youth ranks where Brendan Rodgers is looking to cement a new philosophy in the wake of Frank McParland's departure.
Martin Skrtel's contract talks with Liverpool have hit a snag over a clause relating to the number of games he must play each season.
According to The Daily Mail, the central defender, who is one of the top earners at the club behind Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge, was thought to be close to agreeing a new deal.
Liverpool were confident of wrapping up the contract before the end of the season, but it’s understood Skrtel has to play a high number of games - possibly as many as 80 per cent - to qualify for his full salary.
The Reds are reportedly lining up a transfer for AC Milan forward Jeremy Menez.
Despite Menez, 27, being tied into a contract until 2017, The Metro says Liverpool are ready to step up their interest.
Rodgers, however, may face competition from big-spending Monaco for Menez's signature at the end of the season.
Liverpool have supposedly been handed a boost to complete the £17.7m transfer for Inter Milan star Mateo Kovacic.
That's also according to The Metro, which claims the Croat has become unsettled in Milan due to the imminent arrival of Manchester City's Yaya Toure.
And finally, Liverpool have moved one step closer to completing a transfer deal for Barcelona defender Martin Montoya after reportedly making a £7.3m bid for his services.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Montoya is believed to have agreed personal terms ahead of a summer move to Anfield, which would leave his transfer fee as the only remaining obstacle.

Alexandre Lacazette, Lyon
Liverpool FC transfer news today sees Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette again linked with the Reds after he cast doubts over his future.
The Express reports that Lyon president Jean Michel-Aulas would reject any offers for the striker, but the players latest comments could see the club change their mind.
Speaking to French TV, the striker said: "I am good here, but after that I need to think about my progression, the future," he told French television.
"We will see at the end of the season."
The Mirror reports that Jose Mourinho is considering a shock move for Rickie Lambert as a potential for Didier Drogba.
Lambert has been used as a back up striker for the Reds, and the newly crowned Champions could get a close look of their rumoured target on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.

The Mirror says that Lambert is one of several Reds stars allowed to leave Anfield at the end of the season.
The Daily Express is reporting that Brendan Rodgers is looking at two goalkeepers in the summer.
Fiorentina's Brazilian goalkeeper Norberto Neto is a reported target after he had second thoughts on a move to Juventus.
The Brazilian's contract expires in the summer and would provide competition for current number one Simon Mignolet.
The Express also reports that Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic may be considering a move this summer, with Liverpool among those interested in signing the Bosnian.
Finally, the Express suggests that Liverpool remain favourites to sign Burnley striker Danny Ings, with his fee to be decided by a transfer tribunal unless the two clubs can come up with an agreement in the next month.

Other reports I've seen describe Lacazette as being quite happy to stay at Lyon for the whole of his career. You pays your money, etc.

L'Equipe claims that Paul Georges Ntep has visited our training facilities twice in the last 10 days and that we want to sign him.
