Don't know if anyone can help me out.

Been offered 2 season tickets for £ 2,500 for the pair. It is a bloke Owing me Money who wants to clear Depth. I am not sure if I want to take them as I can't go too often and the price seem steep. However I can probably turn them over for around the same amount and still have quite a few games for myself on them. They are in lower Mainstand and it makes it easier to pick and choose games.

He claims he need the additional money (don't Owe me all 2,500) asap as the season tickets are up for renewal now. Is this so?

Give them to me and just break his legs, you know you want to.
 
I thought the club were bringing in some form of ID with season tickets that make it harder to pass them off to others. Not sure how viable it is, but they were talking about an amnesty so that people carrying dead great granda's ST (when he would now be 127 years old) can transfer them into their own name, but, after that, anyone wanting rid of a ST has to (virtually) hand it back in to the club & they will then allocate it via the waiting list.

As I say, it may be unenforceable, but be careful you are not sold a dud.

Also - £2.5K is surely way over face value; I thought most STs are still under a grand each. My first one was £52 🙂

You'd be able to sell the games individually on here. Or multiple people chip in for them off you and the games get shared equally.

Depends if it's worth your time against the likelihood of him finding you the amount owed in cash for you. If he's unreliable or hasn't got the means of payment then this isn't a bad deal. You would be paying £500 over the odds of face value though.

2,5 was for both. I can probably easily deg over the money. However do you know if the renewal is these days?
 
ST renewal is open now, I think.

I morally disapprove of paying more than face value, even for 2 tickets you are paying a 30% markup

I disapprove morally, but tbh you've got two together (I assume) so you'll always be able to get shut of them even for shite games, & cos ST holders pay less per game than buying individually it's not actually that bad a deal at all.
 
We had two on here before. I think Sean and Liam sorted it. We drew lots for games. It was a good craic.

You'd definitely shift the ticket. You'd probably need to ask a regular match goer like Woland or Pete to 'mind' the cards to keep them in Liverpool. Logistically easier for you but perhaps quite the inconvenience to them to meet someone at the ground each game.

Let me know what you do. I'd def take a batch of games off you for family and reliable friends if you were looking to outsource some.
 
Tell him I will offer him 1500 for them.. and I will make them available to site members on a ballot basis on a match by match basis

They will then be offered to the winning participants for the face value

He’s taking the piss. Highest price non hospitality season ticket is £869. Likely his seats are even less

Yeh but we did it at face value not like this thieving twat trying to turn a profit
 
Fuck it. I let him know I am willing to take them and will sell part of the season in Norway for 150 per game. That will leave rest of the season for face value which can be split between SCM members. Hope it works out.
 
I found it impossible to get tickets on my membership card this season for the first time ever, despite trying for pretty much every match.
Unless they change the system I don't expect to be able to get any for next season either.
So, if you have any spare for next season I wouldn't definitely be interested too

Thats a shame mate. Over here there is a Facebook page where Norwegians turn around ticks for a lot of money and Norwegians on tour is willing to pay top money (2-300 pounds) as they only go once a season or so anyway. It is quite disgusting the whole thing. I have a few guys in Liverpool I normally get my ticks for and they charge 50-60 quids a game. I will defo try help anyway if this deal falls through (there is a reason he owe me money originally) next season.
 
Despite my moral objections, I'd throw my hand in for the odd match. But I'll take them while maintaining the moral high ground, if that's ok with you.

I definitely be keen for a game either for my brother or myself if the date works out with when I’m home.

It’s such a shame we can’t have a 75k stadium and cater for the season ticket demands
