Substance is what you make of the numbers. All numbers no substance.
All numbers no substance.
"Thank you for posting the article, Frogfish" etc.
Thanks for your substantial input again Patrick.
That's about as ridiculous an excuse as anyone could come up with. The article tells us nothing anyone who followed last season didn't already know. I would have expected a much deeper dive into the tactical side. It was basically says unless you are Liverpool and Klopp or get very lucky you won't beat them. Amazing stuff.
Yes, but compare it to the argument "we have a 25 point gap to make up on City" and you can see how, in comparison, this article is "all numbers & no substance"That's about as ridiculous an excuse as anyone could come up with.
I doubt that one single person here could spout even half of the statistics and breakdown of how City conceded goals and the source of their goals, bar the obvious, so yes it does indeed give information most people would not be aware of.
And as for it just being a cursory inspection of tactics to score/defeat City, well it's about as in-depth as most people would want to go.YMMV. What did you expect from a website when 18 PL managers found it tough to defeat them.
Personally I found the breakdown of how they concede their goals interesting.
True enough. And it's still missing the key statistic of a 25 points start.Yes, but compare it to the argument "we have a 25 point gap to make up on City" and you can see how, in comparison, this article is "all numbers & no substance"
Haha. Yes, Dreamy also likes to remind people we’re worse than Spurs last season, despite the fact we were treading water in the league for the last 8 fixtures as we prioritised the CL and they beat us by 2 points.Yes, but compare it to the argument "we have a 25 point gap to make up on City" and you can see how, in comparison, this article is "all numbers & no substance"
MahrezAnd the fact that we've improved our squad and they haven't added to it.
Thought he was referring to spurs.Mahrez
Mahrez
He was indeed talking about Spurs.Mahrez
They really are silly if they have...there are 17 games from last season they can study to get the answers.Anyway. Word is there is a thread on Man Citys forums called ‘Stopping Liverpool’
Did you just go and check that you dull bellendThey really are silly if they have...there are 17 games from last season they can study to get the answers.
