Not surprised that a woman who has to be around his ugly mug on daily basis makes demands.

How come the south americans that go to spain and italy end up sleeping with anything that moves...wheras the ones that come to England are the loyal to girlfriend/wife types who wouldn't mind alienating 1000s of fans who contribute to his massive massive wage just so their wife can have more shopping and nail-spa friends?

It doesn't make sense...

So its all about the group sex?

Maybe the sheiks at citeh should consider traficking women then, it's not entirely new for them, is it?

It does.

Spanish and Italian girls are mostly hotter than English ones.

Hahahaha... he's not wrong though.

Dangerous one. Those Latina hotties eventually morph into dragons with more facial and body hair than the average Wookey.

Apparently he had split from his wife about a year ago but they are back together now!!

Do you reckon he might be owned my some shady gang, like Kanchelskis, and they like to force a big money move every couple of years?

He's such a prick. He left his wife. Any fucking money says if he gets out of Manchester he wont be with her for long.

He's just such a mercenary cunt. I really hope no one comes in for him.

It's such a contrast with how he is on the pitch though (known for giving 100% all through his career, unlike so many other strikers) that I can't help wondering how differently things might have turned out if it hadn't been for Joorabchian.

City's only comment was brief, as the BBC was told: "Carlos is a contracted player to Manchester City for another three years and we have had no offers for him."

From what is being said in the nes today, they are not going to just let this happen, and are likely to play hard-ball and Carlos is not likely to be allowed to just walk.

There is an irony here. On one hand it would be lovely to see City stand up to players lack of commitment to these alleged "contracts", indeed they are one of a small handful of clubs that could afford to let a player rot.On the other hand, they are one of the main causes of player unrest and dissatisfaction with their lot at their existing clubs.

regards

Tevez has not been on the books of any club in Europe or South America where he has been happy. He is always unhappy.

It's quite true.

I won't be shedding my tears for him just yet.

If a player can just ask to leave because he is unhappy, then the possibility of that should be priced into the wage...currently it's not.

You can't have it both ways.

If he wants to move so badly, then he should be allowed to buy back the contract, but he shouldn't be asked to just pay back the wages...it should also include the initial transfer fee. If he can't do that or find a club who will help him do that, then he should just shut up and put up.....this will make players be hesitant to be part of big money transfers...which is a good thing.

Corinthians make £35m offer for Manchester City's Carlos Tevez • Return to old club in Brazil may suit Argentinian
• Twenty-seven-year-old wants to be closer to his family
Manchester City may see Corinthians as the ideal club for Carlos Tevez to join. Photograph: Michael Mayhew/Sportsphoto/Sportsphoto Ltd./Allstar Manchester City have received a €40m (£35.3m) offer for Carlos Tevez from the striker's former club Corinthians, who are hoping to cash in on the Argentinian's determination to be closer to his family.
On first glance, the bid from the Brazilian club appears fanciful in the extreme. Tevez, whose contract at City is thought to be in excess of £200,000 a week and runs until June 2014, is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, and the Brazilian league would fall well short of the standards he has become used to in Europe. However there are several factors in its favour.
Tevez has been unhappy at City for a while despite winning the FA Cup and qualifying for the Champions League last season, and said last week that he wants to be closer to his two children and their mother, who live in Argentina. He has been linked with moves to Italy and Spain, but the chance to return to South America may tempt the 27-year-old.
"It's true," said Tevez's adviser, Kia Joorabchian. "Corinthians got in touch and we're looking at the possibility."
Although City have not yet responded to the offer, it falls some way short of their £50m asking price, but would mean not selling him to a rival. There is no prospect of him moving to another English club, but with City having qualified for the Champions League for the first time, it may suit them better to let him join Corinthians rather than Internazionale or Real Madrid.
Tevez's time at City, for whom he has scored 53 goals in 86 games, has mostly been fractious since he joined Roberto Mancini's side from Manchester United two years ago. He handed in a transfer request last December, which City rejected, but now it seems certain he will depart this summer. His desire to leave is mainly centred around his former partner, Vanesa, being unable to settle in Manchester. She chose to return to Argentina with their two daughters, Katie and Florencia.
"I need to be closer to them and to spend more time with them," said Tevez in a statement last week. "Living without my children in Manchester has been incredibly challenging for me. Everything I do, I do for my daughters."
Tevez played for Corinthians from 2004 to 2006, before moving to West Ham United. He spent a season at Upton Park, before spells at United and City.

Where the fuck do Corinthians get 35M quid from? Something's rotten in Denmark methinks...
My exact first thought too.
Here's the first thing my mind thought.
City have given Corinth the money to buy him, but why?
Then i thought maybe they havnt at all and that they are saying they have paid for him when in fact they havnt and are giving City the pickins of all their future stars.
Then i thought fuck knows. But it stinks fo sho.

Just seen the following about Corinthians:

4th biggest shirt sponsorship in world football
have built or about to build (didn't quite hear)a brand new 68k stadium
tv rights on a par with prem

Maybe they can afford him?

City would be mad not to accept.

Even if they got another £10 million for him from say Madrid or Inter...would they really want to risk coming up against either of them sides in the Champions League and Tevez coming back to haunt them?

Corinthians aren't a rival. Inter, Madrid etc are.
