Personally, I don't care much for Van Gaal. I just want him to continue the good work Moyes started and didn't get a chance to finish.
Its really starting to bother me that the media are going full blown crazy over him because somehow he's going to take a squad which imo is worse currently than it was at the end of last season and without question knock us, a squad which has lost its best player, but strengthened very well, out of the top four. I should be happy because it takes the pressure off us, but its like all logic has been thrown out the window because this guys got a Dutch accent, its embarrassing from the media.

Yesterday came the first text of what the hell are we doing, why havent they bought anyone and that there are rumours on the Utd forums that Woodward and van Gaal already are starting to fall out due to the lack of transfer business.
Their 32 mill full back returned to pre season looking like a unfit Vicky Pattison and is now injured for 1 month.
I hate van Gaal but I also hate how the media just love everything he does and now they'll suddenly be top 3.
I hope they fail like there is no tomorrow and I really hope we surprise all the so called "experts" again.

I assume that the less cerebral fans are also buying into the hype and expecting similar things.
Unless they get off to a fast start and maintain a comfortable position in the top four the pressure will be even greater on Van Gal because of the previous heightened expectations.
