The traitor!

we all knew there was something off about him, hopefully he has nothing further to write about
I wonder what the new book will be called:

1) Tiki-Taka is our Transfers
2) Oil-Money is our Transfers
3) Self-Harm is our Transfers

Take your pick,,

That fucker ruined us - and a complete fraud, I suspect that he is going there cos the other Pep thinks that this guy can motivate his overused players - I hope that ruins them (City) - which I think it will. He could not win the Austrian league being in charge of the wealthiest team in that league.

the only thing i’m slightly bothered by is the transfer influence he might have. imo, marmoush aside, they’ve been doing some fairly rotten business on the whole.

didn’t pljinders push for some of our dutch / portuguese based transfers? i’m not even sure if he had any influence at all but i don’t want city getting any help righting things

He is also the guy I suspect that put a stop to getting rid of some of our overused players, and getting new players in.
I have no doubt he will fuck the transfers up completely for City.

Ruined us?

Weren’t you arguing that Slot was lucky and it was all Klopp - you remember Pep was Klopp’s Ass Man don’t you?

Also you realise you can be a good Ass Man and a shit manager at the same time.

Yes to your last question
But to be honest after he joined us things kind of changed, so many injuries and probably influenced the decision to get Darwin, and gradually the data team seemed less involved. But ultimately Klopp had to sanction the decisions to keep / sell / buy players. Trent's overall performances also declined when he joined us plus if was helping Klopp with tactics - he did not help in adjusting the way we played much.

When you guys keep saying what I said about "Slot was lucky" - yes he was in terms of:

1) inheriting that squad of players that almost could have won the league last season under Klopp
2) having 3 of the best Dutch players on his books that he knows well of their potential capabilities and using them right.
3) probably having better training sessions and not making them run so much in games therefore preserving their energies - he learnt quickly after that howler against Forest at home where he played Mac10 after he literally got off the aeroplane from South America.

tactically - he has been brilliant in games but I really did not like the way he was over-praising PSG, and I hope he does something to address the bad penalty shoot-out loss that knocked us out. I hope that was not a reflection of what the Dutch do regularly in international tournaments -which exit at the first penalty shoot out.

I like him but you cannot ignore that the other usual contenders dropped off this season, when we had bad games that we drew Arsenal were also drawing (or losing), the pressure of a final run in was non-existent, and City had obviously reached the end of the cycle with their current crop. He took us over at the right time to achieve this, and deep inside he must have known otherwise he would have asked to sign a player or two.

Not sure why there is an uproar over this. Is he out of a job? Yes. Is he employed by us? No. Will we take him back? No. Never. Stay away.

He can join City. I don't care. Man needs to make a living and as far as I'm concerned the less associated he is with us the better.

He joined us just before we won the champions league, super league, world cup and premier league. The ruining bastard

I thought Pep was going to be appointed Manager at a Championship club. My thoughts are I couldn't care less, the guy needed a job, everyone has a right to put food on the table.

I'd prefer it if Pep Senior didn't now have a Pep Junior on his staff who knows more about us than I'd ideally like them to know. That said, we've nicked one or two of their backroom boys here and there and it didn't seem to bother them overmuch, so it's up to us to follow suit.

We have a new manager, new setup and probably more than three new starters. I don’t think his prior knowledge will help him.

Nope.

Not doing it.

I'm not joining in on it, but on his leaving message he a) he called him and his family scousers and b) said he wouldn't be an assistant again. Things change, of course, but people are sick of people using the scouse/I'm a local bullshit and forgetting it the moment anything beneficial comes along, especially with Trent doing the same recently.

Are people seriously dunking on the guy because he said he only wanted to manage from now on but has "gone back on it" cos he's proven shit at that job?!

Of course he's going to go back to being an assistant - he's really good at that and crap at being the main man.

I don't understand the bitterness towards him - he was a top class employee for us. Maybe the book was slightly ill-advised, but it's no big deal. And the club could've easily stopped him doing that if they really cared.
