This is what we miss...

No, put up a picture of a fit and firing Torres ... or Robbie ... or Owen ... or Rushie ... or Kenny ... or Keegan ... That's what we needed today.

True, but we still need a monster in the middle of the park to protect our shite back line..

Yes, this is what I've come to realize.

If Pepe goes, a young goalkeeper (Ter Stegen for example)

A new CB for the next 10-12 years.

A monster CB to protect them (Wanyama)

Some of those tackles in that video are just sublime..

Question is though, would he get away with half of them in the Prem these days.. Given the refs views on tackling ??

If you mean someone who tackles like that, then yeah. If you mean the spoilt, overpaid, arrogant cunt who shit on hundreds of thousands who idolise the players who represent Liverpool FC then no. I wish him(just himself) mediocrity and misery, CUNT!!! notamascheranofan.com

i could have a montage that made me look like a world beater

Masher would make no difference to our problem, we needed to buy two Sturridges not a Allen

With Masher in our team we would still have Agger and Skittles having shockers

We didn't miss him when tearing into City and Arsenal away

we could have bought two Sturridges and not an Borini too

Mascherano would walk into our team at the moment, so to say 'we don't miss him' is mental.

He's world-class at what he does. You can't say the same for any of our other midfielders.

Did we win those games ? No..

We conceded 4 goals.. Mascherano imho would of certainly made a difference in both of those games, especially against Arsenal..

So easy to say in hindsight that he would have helped. He also used to give stupid free kicks away. Who's to say he wouldn't have given away an equally daft free kicks.

How would he have made a difference in either of Arsenal's goals? And against City, would he have prevented Reina coming so far far off his line?

We have never beaten Arsenal with him in the side, and beaten City once with him in the side.

Though it is easy to say he would have made the difference if it helps you get over the fact that we should have won

It's just as easy to deny it if you don't want to face the fact - and it is a fact - that any opposition would find it harder to score against us if we still had Masher in the side. There is an argument for saying that he might (I don't accept he definitely would) be out of place in Rodgers' system once that's up and running properly, but we're a long way from that point yet and Masher, by putting some steel into our midfield and protecting our misfiring CBs, would unquestionably help us get there faster.
