Despite last night, I thought he looked very sharp at the weekend when he came on, is it worth worrying that he might have a say on where the title goes?

I know he's fucked and finished, but for all the romanticism of Assaidi and Borini taking points off Chelsea, it might yet be an ex hero who has a big say.

He's scored 4 in 25 apps this year. The only say he'll have on the title is about how we deserve it.

I know this lads, that they should be worried about us, I just think it'd be typical. I hope somewhere in his heart of hearts he thinks to himself that one more shit game (from him) won't make much difference.

If there's any justice this season then we should win it, Chelsea have taken their cuntishness to new levels and as much as I know Mourinho is a great manager, despite his cautiousness, I just think football should win the day, at least this time anyway. We've acted with incredible humility this season and in light of the 25yrs, Justice, Gerrard, United going tits up, etc.. it's just too apt.

Like when Andy Gray *spit* said "you may aswell put Liverpool's name on this trophy now", well that's how I feel this season. It's fate. I just hope some devilish cunt doesn't spoil the party.

has he scored against us yet ? i don't think so . it would be shattering if the cunt did in this game of all games .

Mark, how about he scores an OG for Chelsea V Athletico next week. And this week, does this same for us. He'd be a non commercial legend.

I agree with Mark.
The last 3 or 4 games he's looked really sharp and fired up.
He's not the force of old but he's still a threat especially against our defence.
I'd really like to see Agger play this one and dish the traitor whore another elbow in the teeth fairly pronto.

The good thing for us these days is that we're always likely to score. The bad thing being we enjoy letting the opposition score against us too, but a little less than we score ourselves.
Which means, hopefully, him scoring against us wouldn't matter and it'll just be another day at the office with a 4-3 win or something crazy like that.

He looks sharp because he heads out to the touchline to get the ball under no pressure, then can run towards goal and pick up some speed. In reality his touch is gone, his explosive pace is gone, and he suffers psychological trauma when just thinking about shooting.

If he was still playing for us, I dnt think he would have lost it all in such collosal fashion. He probably will have no problem scoring 15 goals a season.... Which is decent return.

He needs to go someplace and rediscover his passion...

I have this flicker of a belief that if he has a golden chance at the end to equalise or win the match for them, that he'll intentionally blaze it over.

No way. But he could well completely fuck up the chance and squirt his shot wide.

It surprises me that so many posters seem to be assuming Torres will play. A pound to a penny says Ba will be their main striker on the day because Mourinho will want Eto'o to play against Atletico and may well have doubts (a la Rafiagra above) about Torres' state of mind for this game.

How funny that we might well win the league before he does. You'd never have seen that coming in 2011. Yet no one really notices. Shows how much of a flop he has been, and how we've moved on..

After seeing what the wankers pulled off in the champions league semi, and final, the year they won it, I think anything could be possible, especially with our defence. I think the best thing to do is score 2 or 3 goals, so if the traitor does get a goal or a dodgy pen or something, it doesn't have any impact on the result.

No man is bigger than the team.....

Its pretty obvious he regrets the decision though from what I have read, plus he keeps going on about this real reason for leaving which doesnt seem to have ever surfaced?

You think? Even with a CL medal and a EL medal?

However undeserved?

Real reason? Club wanted to sell I am sure, as he had stopped trying,

I reckon we knew how bad that injury he had was and hid it from Chelsea.... basically we stitched them for 50 mill for a crock....

I think thats how it has worked out

If their medical staff are that incompetent serve the fuckers right!!! A £90 million transfer ( inc wages ) and they wouldn't have done a thorough examination - I don't think so!

I don't even think he'll play, they'll save him for the Champions League and Ba will start. Worst case Scenario is that Salah, Willian and Torres score and we lose.

Yeah as long as Hazard and Willian are out we might only get beat by a couple.

Skrtel gonna kick lumps into Torres. He won't be a factor and secretly he'll want us to win. His heart is still at Anfield.
